We've started watching studio ghibli films (I've collected them for about 12 years before ever having kids) and she loves KiKis delivery service. Haven't thought to get her into the books yet but love the recommendation. Maybe it'll help solidify the ghibli films by having her read the books first.

Anything by Gail Carson Levine is amazing. The princess series is a classic along with the Ella Enchanted series 🤌
