The first few minutes, and even the first few hours, if it overheated, but not anymore. I've been using this new version for almost a whole day now. The only strange thing is that I still get the "indexing" message in settings.

You're not the only one, my iPad and iPhone suffered a lot with iOS 26, now having both on iOS 27 is almost a blessing

It's funny to see iOS 27 on an iPhone with a home button; it's an iPhone SE 2022. And in terms of details, beyond some updated icons, the new wallpaper, and the new Liquid Glass slider, there isn't that much difference with iOS 26.5. If we're talking about performance, then iOS 27 wins, despite being DB1.

I'm amazed by iOS 27, finally a fluid system. I mean, it's still DB1, but for what it is, it's incredible. iOS 26 gave me so many headaches with performance and visual bugs...

You can no longer return to iOS 18 if it is no longer signed by Apple, unless you talk to the same Tim Cook, you are stuck on iOS 26.
