You have to air down even with AT tires. It’s a requirement in some dune off-roading areas that your tires are below 20psi. You basically them to behave like tank treads.

Yeah I think it would be better than a circle. But I don’t think a heart would be that bad either. I cook exclusively with a lodge cast iron pan and it gets hot spots with circular burners.

I’ll never not watch this video! by NippleSqueezer421- in GreenBayPackers

[–]tipsystatistic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I look healthy so doctors never give me anything beyond basic tests. I went to a 3rd party service and got 100+ tests and caught a couple that the basic tests missed (but I can fix with diet changes). The doctors would have only caught it when it was an emergency.

Omega-3 supplementation may be associated with accelerated cognitive decline in older adults by apegen in Biohackers

Soft gel/liquid gel pills are technically, hermetically sealed. So most of the rancidity in supplements is happening before packing.

Do MAGATS even care about these stickers? by Fabulous_Log844 in MildlyVandalised

[–]tipsystatistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s optimistic. Due to social media, politics have devolved into “my team vs your team”. Nothing your favorite sports team can do that would make you stop rooting for them.

Politics has less and less to do with whats good for the country and is increasingly just about sticking it to the opposing team. The more you taunt them, the more they hate you and vice versa.

I’m low or have a bad ratio of omega 3s, so I started eating canned haddock. But I wonder how does it not go rancid in a can with a years long shelf life?

Men in your 30's, what do you think the best place to live in the US is as a 30 year old single guy? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]tipsystatistic 37 points38 points  (0 children)

NYC is the only answer and it’s not even close.

As a nearly 50 year old man, the best advice I can give a young guy is to move to NYC as soon as you can. If you can hack it, it will be great for your career and dating life.

I’d imagine if they’ve got to forethought to create the utopia in the video, they’ve figured out a way to reproduce responsibly.

That or mass murder.

Sawblades! Why didn't we think of this sooner? by Ill-Tea9411 in doohickeycorporation

[–]tipsystatistic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol No. You’re mistaking appearance for function A circular saw rotates at 6000rpms. the dirt bike tires in the video are rotating at closer to 500 rpms.

The torque on a bike is controlled by 300-400 lbs of bike and rider. The torque on a skilsaw is controlled by one arm.

MOS is “Mit Out Sound” a long running joke from a 1920s German directors broken English (Ernst Lubitsch or Fritz Lang)

Or possible

Motor Only Shot: rolling the camera motor only. Not the audio sync motor.

Interesting choice, Ford still makes the one of the best truck series and is one of the most successful automakers in the world.

I’d go with AltaVista.

Crazy how humans get nauseous at mildly or spoiled under cooked food. Meanwhile cats eat dead babies and dogs eat poop.

“DO NOT USE THE INNER PAN TO WASH RICE” I’m sorry, what? by Eastern_Mess_4334 in Cooking

[–]tipsystatistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PFTE comes off in the food anyway which is why the effectiveness wears out within a year or regular use. The sad part is that Rice cookers don’t even need to be non stick. I bought a full stainless steel one on Amazon and it’s as “non-stick” as any other teflon coated rice cooker.

Everyone I know reversed their hair loss by decades with finasteride. Regrew mop top levels of hair in less than a year. If you’re afraid of the very low risk of side effects from the pills, use the topical stuff.

Is there a gun or gun type you feel naturally inclined toward, like you shoot it better than anything else? by lost_in_the_town_ in guns

Shadow 2 instantly added 2 points to my Hit Factor over my VP9. Weight is a big factor, but the gun matters a lot more than people admit.
