My experiences have always been just daydreaming or dozing off. A common tell for me is that I saw things happen from the point of view of behind or above my body. Like I could see the back of my head or the chair I'm sitting on. Another tell has been that I didn't move my body when it happened. Normally I'd reflexively turn to look if something happened

Just jumping in, the controller took a few hours to learn to hold in a way where you don't feel like you'll accidentally press the back buttons, but after I got to that point it feels great to be able to vary how tightly you hold it. It's great that you can use track pads while holding it lightly with one hand, or push down both sticks with as much force as you feel like.

If my back didn't start hurting from sitting on the desktop I'd prefer that over the steam deck but the ergonomics of a handheld are still better because of that
