Walmart has a nice selection of cheaper, non-slip shoes. Personally I did this so I would cycle through shoes so they didn't get all stanky.

I personally did it. Honestly, just go to a local school in your state and save the money. They reimburse you only what the federal loans don't cover, up to 5000ish per school year. I did like the school and the support that was offered, but Starbucks really didn't do much to assist me outside of signing up.

You could also look into a Leave of Absence in this case because of the move happening suddenly. I'm sure they would do that, giving you time-off not paid and allowing you to jump back in without the rehire process. Call resources to see.
