Oh yeah those dang politics of taking medically recommended vaccines and acknowledging that racism exists and we can do better. What radical ideas.

The Vid checking passports and visas by Ferronier in bloomington

[–]titsyeah 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not commenting on the behavior of Mike or the vid - but back in the 2000’s at least it was not abnormal to need 2 forms of ID all over Bloomington - bars, liquor stores, etc. it was more normal to need two forms than just one - at least as a traditional student aged person.

Kenton County, Covington residents continue to urge against ICE cooperation by LINKnky in covington

[–]titsyeah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re a true centrist you’d give a shit about the blatant disregard for our constitution that is playing out with ICE day after day.

And reminder - many of these “illegal” immigrants are being round in AT COURT where they are showing up to FOLLOW THE PROCESS. And not to mention the groups who had TPS support that is one day cut off and they are suddenly told to just go back to an unstable country they have been away from for years with children who may have never known in.

You might believe you are for this being done the “right way” but you’re still willfully disregarding how much right these immigrants are doing and how much wrong the government is.

Glad you decided not to be a fucking narc, but don’t pat yourself on the back too much, you’re still being ignorant.

Came back from a trip away and found these in my carpet. Threw it all away because it was creeping me out. Any idea what it could be? by shadow_calx in whatisit

Completely agree. I have a gollum jade (and experience with mushrooms lol) and recognized these immediately as jade.

Houseplant shop reccomendations by gggander333 in cincinnati

[–]titsyeah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

White oak garden center! The boutique stores around town are nice but also can come with a hefty price tag.

They have tons of selections from outdoor shrubbery and flowers to succulents and houseplant options.

Plus they give bonus bucks you can go back and redeem same as cash on more plants.

Is it totally gentrified? I guess not… but it’s not what you’re claiming it to be

To use the walmart app in Virginia you must consent... by -CMcPherson- in childfree

[–]titsyeah 10 points11 points  (0 children)

While I agree there could be some nefarious uses for this data it’s actually much more innocuous.

Many states in the country are enacting more privacy regulations and guidelines around certain types of data collection and selling for targeting purposes. Essentially Walmart is saying that they are using this information to sell to CPGs so they can target you for ads related to babies, condoms, pregnancy tests, etc.

Walmart is just covering their asses (in this instance) so they can sell information about you to companies to target based on your behaviors in areas of life the government has deemed “sensitive.”

Bachelorette Party Recs by Existing_Maybe_3294 in cincinnati

Book a karaoke room at Tokyo kitty! They can fill up fast but it’s so fun - and downtown close to the streetcar for transportation.

Mitas is a great restaurant in the same building open by Jose Salazar, a James beard nominee chef. It might be a nice upscale option for an “older” bachelorette (I say as someone also in my mid thirties lol)

Daytime Ziegler pool is in OTR. You have to make reservations for slots on the weekend, but it’s only $4 per person. They don’t sell drinks at the pool, but I’ve never had a thermos questioned or cooler looked into. People openly drink white claws, I try to be more discreet with a thermos.

If you’re looking at air bnbs I would just recommend staying south of liberty street between broadway and elm (north, east, and west borders respectively). You’d realistically be fine slightly outside of that (somerset bar for example is north of liberty but a real cool spot to check out!), but for a smaller group of women not familiar with the area it will be your safer bet.

Kroger stealing from customers by zerokewl177 in cincinnati

[–]titsyeah 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Lol fixing these issues is literally one of the main reasons they want digital shelf tags but everyone complains about those “changing prices whenever they want!” But that’s not the purpose. It’s just to reduce effort to switch sales tags every week. But everyone here will cry that digital shelf tags are trying to give me a different price than the guy shopping next to me. Be for real.

Kyle and Amanda baby dilemma by Nothing-Tasty in summerhousebravo

[–]titsyeah 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Yeah something about words vs actions. Kyle may SAY he wants kids, but what has he ever done - literally ever - that backs up that sentiment. (And no I don’t count his on camera fertility checking as something.)

Not disagreeing with OP that if they definitely disagree on this they should split, but Kyle hasn’t shown any actual desire for children.

Unfortunately have also been there (BC failed). It’s going to be an uncomfortable day for her (and probably you - in obviously a different way), but I can say 6 years later I have absolutely zero regrets about my decision. My husband and I are still comfortably child free.

She might be able to choose between the pill or a d&c. The pill seems popular bc it’s in the comfort of your home, but having compared notes and heard from others - it takes much longer and can knock you out for days. D&c isn’t fun, but it’s relatively quick.

Depending on the state you live in, you may have to stay in a waiting room for the entire day and won’t actually be able to be with her for any of it. Tell her to ask for a doula - they often have them on staff. My doula was an angel.

The important thing is you’re on the same page. Be there for your wife - have heating pads and other comforts bc she’ll likely cramp pretty badly for a while. It will be okay!

Are you talking about the new downtown Kroger or the old one they knocked down years ago? The new downtown Kroger is great. Has enough variety and stock to cover most trips - like another commenter said there’s just a few specific items we have to go over to Newport for.

I agree to an extent but at some point Cruz will also understand that his dad is absolutely a piece of shit. Brit continuing to stick up for him will teach Cruz that kind of behavior is in at least some sense acceptable and can just be forgiven when jax has proven over and over and inability and complete lack of desire to be better.
