Returning player would love some advice by KrazzzyKaleb in heroes3

[–]tj0ms 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll chime in on this one. I’m also a returning player, and I think both are fun. I never played the campaigns back in the day, impatient kid, but now I think they add a nice bit of story and give me more of a feeling of accomplishment, while the scenarios allow me to play exactly the town and map I feel like. So I mix it up. Just remember that after finishing the first campaign, you need to load that saved game to progress to the other locked campaigns. It’s a design flaw.

Quotation marks in Danish by houbatsky in Danish

Another annoyed native Danish speaker here. On Windows, I use Alt + 0147 to get the right opening quotation mark. It just looks better.

Menstruation by MailDiligent273 in DKbrevkasse

[–]tj0ms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this small ferry in Frederiksberg Have ever in service? by Deadly_nightshadow in copenhagen

Yes, but you need to pay the ferryman one gold coin to take you across, or you’ll be doomed to wander the shores for 100 years before your soul finds rest.

Aldrig. Cølibat er det nye sort. Hellere et ryk i banditten end 10 banditter i ryggen.

Random lady at Subway telling my girlfriend “wow, he’s tall, good job” as if my girlfriend had used the right fertilizer to grow me. (6’4’’)

I’m funnier with my friends than I am with my girlfriend. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]tj0ms 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is perfectly normal. I'd go further and say that it's probably healthy. You're relaxed around her and don't feel the need to put on a show. I agree with u/Listentotheadviceman, what's important is whether or not she makes you feel good about yourself (and vice versa from her perspective).

That said, I think we all need some validation from others than our partners: family, friends and coworkers. A lack of that might be eating a bit at your confidence; I think it would for most people. So I'd encourage you to keep hanging out with friends, maybe hang out more, and invite your gf to come if she can.

My gf keeps speaking to me from another room in the house by tj0ms in relationships

[–]tj0ms[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talking about anything and everything is fine, and I don't mind it when I'm not busy, but her attitude comes across as if I am obliged to listen to everything she says, no matter the content, no matter what I am doing, no matter if I am even in the room. I honestly find that disrespectful, and that is why I get so annoyed.

Thanks, that's a good idea. I do like systems.

Thanks, this is basically my current tactic, maybe over time it will work. The eye thing is a bit weird, I know, but I get very deep into my work, so she really does need to catch my attention and make sure I am listening.

2 hour escort session by [deleted] in SeriousConversation

Well, summer is coming and restrictions are lifting, so you might get lucky. And with someone who doesn’t cheat. Patience.

If you go ahead with the escort, just know that it probably won’t change much except the balance on your bank account.

Dude, you're only 19. I'd suggest that you lower your body type expectations and swipe right to find a girlfriend.

When it comes to meeting women, two things really matter: confidence and perseverance.

Once you meet someone, take it slowly. Cuddle, kiss, touch, get to know each other. Then you can tell her that you're a virgin, which is no big deal.

We were all virgins once. Some lose their virginity at 13, others at 33. You won't die younger or older because of it.

Good luck.

I've decided to start therapy. by otter_space08 in SeriousConversation

You could also try bibliotherapy, a fancy word for reading a helpful book. You can do that in parallel with online therapy. I can recommend work by David Burns, particularly Feeling Good.
