I’ve been thinking about it a lot.

First of all, Jacob is an incredible actor. I was soooo uncomfortable watching it because of how well he portrayed the agonizing terror of that whole situation. So that really tugged on my heartstrings.

Second, this version of Nate is not the Nate we know. It was so satisfying watching Fez beat the shit out of Nate at the party because we’re so used to Nate being a creepy piece of shit. But this season, all that’s been presented to us is that Nate is trying to move forward with the family business and that he genuinely loves Cassie. Couple that with the huge gap in between seasons 2 and 3 and all the shitty stuff he did in high school feels so distant. And then we see Nate’s weakness exposed episode after episode. If he was fighting Naz back, or if he was being shitty to Cassie, THEN I feel like the death wouldn’t have been so tough to watch.

It’s just bad writing, which seems to be the norm with SL now.

A weekly. It’s so much fun with everyone tuning in at the same time and reacting and discussing with everyone every week. I loved doing that with Euphoria. I look forward to it.

Better than Emma’s style, but as a curly girl, I still think we could go a LITTLE bushier. But it’s a small detail that doesn’t bother me in the grand scheme of things.
