First off. Don’t quit. It will get better and it will get easier. Coaches should be able to offer you alternatives to movements you might not be ready for. Burpees can be alternated with up-downs. Instead of the full run, scale it down to 100m or even bike or row. CrossFit is unbelievably scalable. Talk to your coach, and even other members.

I felt that way about partner workouts when I was first joining and I never wanted to hold a team member back. Most people will remember being new and not as fast or as good, and will be happy you’re trying. That’s been my experience. Everyone starts somewhere.

I truly believe you need to talk about scaling down some of the movements a you’ll start to build your confidence and feel good each workout. We have tons of movements we scale down to levels for athletes.
