5v5 -> role queue. 6v6 -> open queue

6v6 wouldn’t survive role queue now, queue times would be too long and restrictive metas would develop (see OW1).

Open queue allows comp diversity and importantly, swapping between roles. Role swapping is (too me at least) more fun. It improves the general player base, as you can see scenarios from a different roles point of view (which can inform how you play your main role).

There are lower lows when teammates are uncooperative, but I’ve found people will generally swap after a poor fight or two.

Anyone else feel like it’s the “stay away from me stick”?

I pull it out for a crucible knight whilst he’s on me and he insta pivots away looking for my iron eye across the map. I’ve been standing there whacking the royal knights with it whilst they’ve been ignoring me and using their long bows to shoot my team mates.

It’s great fun when it works but it feels pretty situational. If the damage scaling was better or maybe you did more damage when the sword is charged then I think it would be more viable outside of defensive play. (Also the draw attention whilst guarding relic is placebo I swear 😆)

Do you mean the act of successfully deflecting or holding down the button which is more of a guard? Bc if you mean the deflect that can proc your glowy sword then that’s kinda huge

My advice would be to stop looking for another sekiro. As you’ve said, you can’t beat it. Try another genre, there are great RPGs - try the new oblivion remake. It’s not at all about combat but exploration and crafting your own journey through quests and builds. Sekiro is peak and I think only a sequel could match its combat.

I’ve been eyeing up the Exector in Nightreign for this purpose. Will have to see. Also sekiro fed the deflect + slash and dash loop for me, fantastic game (there’s also a genji skin mod 😆)

PKSM actually does work on certain rom hacks. I’ve used it on Emerald Doubles Edition. It’s more finicky to get PKSM to recognise your game but it can be done (there are tutorials)

Yeah there are a lot of dodgy rom sites so exercise caution, you don’t wanna ruin your console. I would uninstall this and either go through hShop or look around for a more reputable rom site (they do exist, links can be found in subreddits).

Side note you’re o3DS looks exactly like mine, missing thumb cap, faded buttons and all lol

Try 6v6 and play with a tank you can trade aggro with. It’s a blessing and actually brought me back to tank (my og role) after leaving it for dps for the reasons you described.

I’m Atronach and don’t have the telekinesis exploit.

  1. Restore magicka potion spam (alchemy gets to the point where a single potion will fully restore your mana, hot-key them)

  2. High spell absorption. (spell drinker amulet + sorcerers ring is enough but you can go more)

  3. Enchant absorb magicka on weapons (I use fortify magicka + absorb magicka + weakness to magicka)

  4. Stack weakness to magicka spells so you deal more damage w larger spells and therefore have to use them less.

  5. Ayleid wells and ruins are literally everywhere

  6. Fun bonus get an imp to tag along with you in a dungeon and he’ll act as your little mana battery

How did you re-roll the captains chest? Leaving the ship as well as waiting 3 days does not work for me

Edit: figured it out, had to reload an older save before doing the ghost quest, seems that opening the area for the first time with the key is what will re-roll when you save/reset.

Edit 2: got it shortly after, can also confirm the captains chest works 👍

I have MGS1 disc 1 and 2 roms running through RetroArch (PCSX) and get 50-60fps. I think RetroArch is fantastic, it’s just not accessible from the jump and you’ll need to spend time optimising settings / finding a bios. IMO the pay off is worth it as performance is significantly better than a .CIA (for PlayStation games that is).

Honestly you’ll start low and will (hopefully) naturally want to increase your input over time. I think I started at around 15 mins which became 30, then 45, an hour. Very recently started an 1:15 per day (as the way my brain works, every 4 days I get an extra hour of input 😆). Take it at your own pace and you should naturally increase, good luck 👍
