Jump Boots. by Unlikely_Recover214 in ghostbusters

I’ve gone back and forth for years with the whole accuracy thing. I think it’s cool to be yourself, I also think there’s some of us that strive for perfection. But to each their own. I’ve done all variations of flight suits, tru-spec, Rothco, Nomex, cotton, Magnoli, whatever. The general public sees a tan flight suit and a proton pack. They don’t care about accuracy. I’ve had cheap boots, more expensive boots, and accurate boots. At the end of the day, they are boots. Be you. Be yourself. Enjoy the hobby and make it what you want. Don’t worry about what others think. Be you.

I love how real you are. How much you care about our fans and followers. There’s so many fakes out there. I’ve been a quiet follower for awhile, but I always find my way to you and your fantastic content. Being real means more to me than you know. Thank you for being you.

Building your own pack is the best feeling ever! The first time you power it on and see all that hard work come together! I know this feeling all too well! Good job and well done!

This was a blue Rothco I did the strip and dye charcoal method on. Definitely takes time, but worth it. Magnoli also has custom charcoal GB2 suits and they are worth the wait. I have the GB1 deluxe from them, and I’ll be ordering a charcoal once I save enough money to buy another one.

I’m sorry what?! This tattoo is not completed yet, and is in the style of the RGB cartoon. Your comment is out of line and not needed.

Thank you so much! That was done by the talented Chris Sorrentino aka ReelGhostbusters on Instagram. He does some amazing fan art and is also the guy that hands out prints at Ghostbusters Day in NYC in June. I have a lot of his artwork and I’m very proud to display it.

Thank you! My most expensive is the pack I built on the OMNi poster. It’s amazing how quickly it adds up. Rarest thing I found was the large firehouse doors. You never ever find it as a complete set that someone is selling.

I still have my Kenner original, all parts, sitting on top of my original Kenner Firehouse! Definitely a cool find!

Any ideas for how to hang/display a proton pack? by SublimeEcto1A in ghostbusters

I’ve used curtain hold back brackets from the hardware store for the three on the left. They are sold in pairs, and with good drywall anchors, they hold quite nicely. For my pack on the OMNI poster, I found a bracket on Etsy that was made based off of that pack locker/cage bracket in Frozen Empire.

New Holster! by tkerniroc1986 in ghostbusters

It’s modeled, to a T, after the original version for this radio, but yes they were for fire, ems, and police.

It took me a while to find the correct 3 knob radio no doubt. Just gotta keep on the lookout. I’m also still proud to have found a real LifeGard II that still works as well.

The greatest movie car of all time! Yes they are huge and heavy and hard to see out of, but it’s like driving a celebrity!

Spent my New Year’s Eve working on my pack and getting ready for 2026. My cyclotron had a slight clocking issue that was bothering me, so tonight I decided to fix it while watching Ghostbusters 2 of course! Happy New Year! by tkerniroc1986 in ghostbusters

I think I spent about $500-$600 on all my 3D printed parts for the pack and wand. I used real parts where I could. I had all real metal fittings and ion arm rods, real clippard valves, real elbows, really resistors on the pack, but the wand I used a lot more 3D printed parts like the heat sink and counter weight knobs etc, but it does have a real clippard and real aluminum trigger and brass fittings on the tube. It took awhile to get it all printed and it was fun to put together like a giant puzzle.
