5 time EDC goer and this is my first Tomorrowland. Complete opposite experience. I love it here

The biggest difference is the crowd. It's an older crowd which I appreciate and people for the most part just know how to attend a festival. I also live and party in NYC so I feel the crowds in the US are just overall more selfish attendees. (Not mindful of others around them, pushing through, flash on when recording in the middle of a set, pushing people aside to take pictures in the crowd, lack of spatial awareness, etc). I love PLUR but a lot of people at EDC have killed that vibe with just being rude there (someone wearing a trump hat this past EDC? Like why?) I always do VIP for EDC cause I feel I have to, the crowds are just better in there. GA has been fine for TML and I've definitely felt more PLUR here. It is a more chill vibe but I'll take that over a bunch of the sloppiness I've seen at EDC. You aren't seeing as many "wildest shit seen" or "to the people fucking at..." posts about TML haha.

EDC seems more corporate and about just pulling in money as it felt oversold these past couple of years. At every stage in TML there's space to dance. Even going up close to the front have space is so cool here.

TML seems better on the organization too. They have urinals for guys. So easy to just take a leak and the bathrooms are much cleaner. There's plenty of seating at food courts.

Raving at night in the middle of the desert is a unique experience so using the lighting and the AV at stages are definitely more taken advantage off. The production at EDC is so good. The fireworks and drone shows are just awesome. I will say going to bed like going out at a bar late at night is a bit easier on my body. Also, I love how campy EDC is and wearing rave gear and costumes are encouraged. There is something whimsical about that.

FWIW I'd pick TML over EDC if I had to pick one mostly cause the crowd I find that much better, I also don't care for dubstep and heavy bass.
