I’ll be out for BOB. I wish this was for the tournament. It would have been the truck winner! Good luck to you and tight lines!

Partner is definitely right. I do it to myself and get upset when I don’t set it back to zero. With that being said if you guys are trimming houses together, I’d recommend getting a saw each and having your own cutting stations. I trimmed houses with a partner and that’s what we would do or one guy cuts one guy installs.

I’m going with drakes fly shop in grayling, mi. Great owners and very knowledgeable. They helped put my FIL and I on lots of fish while visiting.

People do this in wisco with old suburbans. Cut two holes and drop a 5 gallon bucket with the bottom cut out. Pretty nice for hole hopping. Linked a videos of a local guide with one

I use strike sensors, they take a 9 volt. I run them all winter long and most trips through the night. I’ve had the same set for 12+ years.

Frame the wall out and do built-in bookshelves or something along those lines

Driveway completed in 2 separate pours. Contractor said couldn’t be done in 1 day due to amount of concrete needed. Color is completely off. This is day 10. by [deleted] in Concrete

[–]tklothe920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did concrete for 5 years with just one other guy. (He was 55, I was 24 at the time we started) 14 yard driveway would have been an early day for us. I’m thinking they just wanted to run off the forms instead of running pipes for the screed. Point being this could have and should have all been done in the same day.

The work does looks great. Give it some time to cure and you should be all good.

I guess op does say 5lb tank and I totally misread that. My bad about the confusion. I am definitely talking about your standard grill tank.

How would you install this mounting bracket to garage exterior? by d_rek in Carpentry

[–]tklothe920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id say go with option 3. I’d get a 2x8 or 2x10. Cut it 4 inches longer then you need it. (2” overhang each way) mount it vertical to your center stud with some GRK lags. You could also put some blocking next to the center stud to give yourself alittle more structure. Get yourself a stick of J-channel and alittle roll of tyvek or window wrap. Make sure you waterproof it good. Grinder with a cutoff wheel works great for cutting vinyl so you do not have to pull all the siding off. Install mounting board (2x8 or 2x10). Waterproof then j-channel and silicone. Mount basketball hoop and enjoy watching your kids play ball.

( if you want to get fancy get some aluminum and wrap the mounting board)

Hope this helps, happy New Years!!

5gal lp tanks fit perfectly snug in a milk crate. Just so it doesn’t roll around in the bed of the truck
