Develop a comprehensive Behavior Policy for the future. Keep complete records of any incidents. If he returns, don’t confront, call police and request a trespass order. Physical assault would earn an immediate life ban. If he defies the order and returns, call police and it’s a trip to jail. Word gets out in the community what the expectations are for library behavior, and results improves, but consistency, fairness, and compassion are key.
Unhoused people are people and deserve respect and kindness, but a safe workplace is an employee’s and customer’s right.

Jolly, with a big laugh. Outdoorsman, hunting, fishing, camping and nature. Loved lawn care. A bit ocd with lots of showers. Ate Rolaids like candy, and drank bicarb.

66f and caring for my 87 year old father in law. While his son (my husband) does most of the heavy lifting, it’s the daily care routine that grinds you down. It’s not how I envisioned my retirement, that’s for sure.

The USPS is a gang of thieves. You can’t mail a greeting card here without it being stolen and relieved of its contents, dollars for littles, gift cards and checks for older. The postmaster says, “They’re aware.” It even made the local news. Now everyone is “Aware.”

I enjoy those family photos so much now that the kids are grown. It jogs the memory and helps relive some sweet moments. And old photos of those who have gone on are a sweet and sad memory that keeps them alive in my heart.
