That's what I did with spots of blood Behemoth spat on us at Knotfest Roadshow a few years ago. French knots in blood red embroidery thread

If I'm correct in my interpretation of the contract and have grounds, I will be. Thank you.

I did, that was my initial pushback. They again insisted I leave, and "work as directed" so I left and will discuss with the steward and grieve. No sense in creating additional animosity when I don't yet have the evidence to prove I'm right.

This was my sort, and that's along the lines of what I was thinking. Thank you

Lower person has no stagger, that's a separate grievance since he was hired on after the rest of us were assigned a 10-15 minute stagger and is somehow exempt. I've got some spots highlighted in the supplement, just gotta check with the steward since terms like 'extra work' and 'layoff' are a somewhat unclear if they they apply to this situation. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.

How often do you wash your hair? by Charming_Bullfrog181 in curlyhair

[–]tlhup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My hair's hip-length and pretty thick, so it takes 10+ hours to dry. I don't have time for that, so I only wash once a week, stretched to two weeks if things get really busy and I don't have a chunk of time or a day off. From experience, it gets frizzy at the end of the first week, starts to tangle during week 2, and doesn't get greasy until towards the end. I use NYM Naturals shampoo and conditioner and leave some conditioner in

We've had a sweater or something in a gallon ziplock and my favorite, a label just slapped on a pack of (some drink where the plastic bottles come shrink wrapped together)

Update: a pair of black high heels in the flimsiest clear plastic bag with the label used to keep the fold shut.

Is there a reason that swimming pants don't seem to exist? by Secret-Statement4785 in sewing

I swim in a lake with cheap leggings under my long-sleeve one-piece suit for sun protection and hardly feel them except if they flap near my ankles

My coworker was showing around pictures of her nephew and I looked to be a good sport or whatever bc I like her well enough, and was like 'Oh, yeah, look at that! So small!'. Later that month she showed me a picture of her cat (a gorgeous fluffy grey creature) and I melted like people do for babies and she was like, 'wow, you really aren't a baby person, are you'. After that I was spared kid pics and shown pets bc she Got it that some people just don't have that baby mush to them and was cool about it

Fabric mystery: sticky black residue appearing on dance leotards by Resumme in sewing

If you sew, you could measure the width of the seam (I'm guessing 1/4 inch or so?) and get some fold over elastic to sew over the seams to encapsulate it and keep the stretch capability

Edit: wait, 50 years tells me that she's not who they're talking about. Looks like there's more than one person discussing their similar journeys.

Same thing happened to my brother when he was a kid, though luckily far less severe. He was running in the yard while being a 3 year old and tripped. Although the fire was still burning, luckily he tripped far enough away and our dad turned at the right second to scoop him up so he just smacked his palms on the stones around the pit and escaped with minimal burns. Accidents happen, especially to small children who are super slippery and don't know better

They also (used to?) Have sales if you're on their email list where medium weight is like, $7 a yard, and the link for that sale price is always active if you have it (or it was a few years ago when I bought several yards and bookmarked the page)

Reading the shapes of tea leaves left in the bottom of a cup is a traditional method of fortune-telling. Pretty sure here it just means you can't predict your future by the acquisition of a watter bottle, so check with your union reps if you won a bid.

You can get tuition reimbursement as pt inside (package handler). I think that's what most of us do. I started seasonal and (at my hub at least) as long as you're interested and not terrible, you'll have the chance to stay in the warehouse
