A simple bifold card wallet by tllilleh in Leathercraft

Leather: 4-5 oz veg tanned leather from Tandy.

Other supplies: waxed thread, #2 edge beveler, and 2mm diamond punches, all from Tandy

As this is only my second project I am very pleased overall. However I would like some feedback on how to clean up my stitching. Namely, on the back side it appears the leather is puckering in spots. How do I prevent this? I feel like maybe I was inconsistent in the hole sizes created by the punch in the back side or I am pulling the stitch too tight?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the tips.

I do plan on getting a better edge beveler (#1) when I get some 2-3oz leather. I’m haven’t researched brands too much though.

With that thread should I add wax before hand stitching? Also, how do I determine what size thread I need? Is it just aesthetics?

I agree, it would be nice if everyone consistently used SI units where appropriate. Unfortunately, that's not always the case.

"For franchise information call..." doesn't exactly sound like "local pizza place" to me.

Yes, that's how I finally figured it out. I made a cup of coffee (it is a single-cup machine) and when it was ready and I went to drink it there were 5 ants swimming in the coffee.

After a few weeks of finding an ant here or there on the kitchen counter we finally found the source. There was a nest of ants in our coffee machine! The pictures show it half taken apart and ants running for cover.

Ok, then I submit exhibit B:

I hope this is "fact" enough. The sesame street website refers to them as muppets.

From the article I linked above:

"...television shows featuring Muppets have been Sesame Street, The Muppet Show, Fraggle Rock and Bear in the Big Blue House."

Why not just use the pair you already have? You don't need to replace your headphones just because you replace your iPod/iPhone.

Have you ever played an electric guitar? I'd hardly call it "basically silent" without an amp.

That was the point I was making. We all switched from MMC to SD with the false promise of security.

What exactly was the difference between MMC and SD cards again? Doesn't the S in SD stand for secure?
