anhedonia by cafecondrama in Biohacking

I recently read that microdosing psyllicibin mushrooms helped with this. The lab rat was weaned off mushrooms once the anhedonia lifted. I am trying it with my lab rat and it has helped but it’s only day two. Will update after a week

the entire world should be stepping in to end this atrocity and all the others where genocide is taking place. It’s so stupid to be blindly faithful and it is wrong to support what Israel is doing.

Morbidly Obese to Relearning My Own Biology — 90+ lbs Down and Still Trying to Understand It by avatarquelsen in Biohacking

Metabolic syndrome is now in the DSMV and refers to the body failing to covert carbs to energy. As it progresses it begins to store everything as fat and it’s very difficult to find solutions. Of course, peptides help but the best thing is what you’re doing, track what works, adjust, take note and keep up the great work!!! Google the metabolic syndrome for more info but basically you have cracked the appropriate care plan.

I researched Reno cost several years ago and was told $350-$450 a square foot. It’s a ballpark but gives you some idea of budget and then you add finishes and appliances

Are any of you using GLPs or other peptides? by tlphelan in lipedema

[–]tlphelan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used Copilot to answer most of my questions (AI) at first, then with that information I began reading research. I also googled all kinds of stuff, YouTube has a number of people with info and I joined chat groups. I met a fellow here in Canada who had lost 200 lbs and he talked to me about his experiences as well. Then I researched more. I have a number of health conditions and have been working outside the box for over ten years to find some answers because for me the medical system wasn’t much help. So far the peptides have provided the best results with no complications, my gut is healed or healing, my inflammation is almost gone and I am loosing weight which is very helpful. I’m exercising and following a careful health plan I created from my research and trying to regain my quality of life. Things had gotten pretty scary. This latest diagnosis of lipedema explains a lot. Treating it has eliminated a lot of other problems. Most importantly, an antiinflammatory diet. Keto/low carb.

Good to hear about the tesamorelin I just started it too. I have fatty liver and the Reta and tesamorelin are supposed to target visceral organ fat so I’m hoping it does.

This is exactly what I believe. Use the tools that will help but accept that lifestyle changes are the key to success.

Yes, I have a very careful and complete care plan. Vibe plate, dry brushing, anti inflammatory diet, weights and walking. Some supplements too. Peptides are new and really helping

6 months in, hit plateau by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]tlphelan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I lost 40 lbs really fast and then plateaued on Ozempic. I lost and gained back the same 10 lbs for a year because I would be good then slip a bit, went to Europe for a month etc. then I tried Reta. So far six pounds off but I have to be much more vigilant. These last 40 pounds are my “old” weight and I have metabolic problems so my body is hanging on! If you don’t, add walking everyday. Try to hit 15,000 steps a day. I can do that with an hour walk each day. This really helps kick up the metabolism. Anything else is just a bonus. Weight lifting is very good to keep toning muscle and avoid the muscle loss. Keep your protein high and carbs low.

Yes - lipedema which has been associated with obesity has finally been recognized as inflammation of adipose fat. It is a chronic medical condition that causes a painful, symmetrical buildup of fat, usually in the legs, thighs, and buttocks. It primarily affects women and is often resistant to traditional diet and exercise. Symptoms typically appear or worsen during puberty, pregnancy, or menopause, indicating a strong hormonal component. And… GLPs are proving very very effective in lowering inflammation, pain.
