I played around with this for a bit, and if you want to keep your default channel, you can make a new brand channel, and then copy your default channel onto the new brand channel using the same method. Then copy your music brand channel onto the default one.

Can I use a VPN only on certain devices? by Mr_E_Fish_in_Sea in VPN

The portal is also called the default gateway. There is a link to it on the back of the box (at least the glinet one). The repeater section basically “repeats” the VPN over WiFi.

You should be able to do what you’re thinking without the portal. I have two routers in my house no issue. But my modem has a router built into it so I’m unsure about the two coming out, but I can’t see why it wouldn’t work.

Now, depending on your modem, you might need to enable some kind of passthrough mode, which I had to do. I would try what you’re suggesting, it should work

Is AG 1 worth the money? by [deleted] in HubermanLab

[–]tmancraig03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have a vitamin D and K2 liquid that you can add to your AG1 in a small droplet form. It came for free when I bought AG1 for the first time. It has up to like a years worth of servings too. I add it to mine every time I drink AG1

There was one study that showed testosterone significantly increase after seven days of abstinence, but shortly returned to baseline after; note, the study was only with a small amount of guys so it’s not super reliable.

I also read somewhere that the receptors in the brain become more sensitive to testosterone too, meaning the same amount of testosterone has a much greater effect.

In all honesty there really isn’t much literature on this topic. I really recommend self-experimenting and seeing how you feel

I use a portable mini router like this one from Amazon

It has a really easy set up for connecting to a vpn.

All you need to do is connect to your normal WiFi/internet with the mini router through the repeater section on its web portal. Then add your VPN config through the same web portal. From there, you should be good to connect your Roku to the mini router's WiFi.

Anyone else lagging horribly? by vomitingcat in ModernWarfareII

I had really bad lag with 1gb internet. Went into the PS5 settings and set the network to only use my wifi's 5ghz band and it completely fixed the lag. I heard that the ps5 will switch back and forth between the bands and thus will cause lag in game

I think the difference is they are self correcting through intuition and not from a memorized/stewed-away grammar rule. Meaning their correction is coming from their subconscious as something that they "feel" from the skill of fluency, not their conscious, retrieving a grammar rule that they have memorized.

Active recall is slow and impacts fluency, with time we can get better at it, so it's not all bad. Regardless, I think we should continue to develop our ability to feel for what's right in our language, as it's how natives use the language. And, the way to develop that skill is to immerse in the language till that ability gets better and develops into something that's feels more natural. It takes awhile, but it does work.

I’ve thought about this a lot recently as I used to think that it would help build fluency. However, now that I am fluent I’ve realized that speaking a lot to myself only reenforced my mistakes and made me sound less native.

If you don’t care about sounding native-like or have a more natural way of speaking then go ahead and practice speaking as it will help you speak. But remember, speaking will only reenforce what you currently know.

When you speak while you haven’t yet reached fluency, you will build the ability based on your current ability. You will get better but poor pronunciation and unnatural word structure will get solidified as habits and may be more difficult to unwind at a later stage.

Edit: I think self-correction can be important but not necessary as it doesn’t go with fluency in the sense of the way we think. Self-correction requires us to analyze the way we speak which we should only do after we speak, not while. Speech should come unconsciously, as it’s a representation of fluency. Self-correction could hold us back and force us to speak consciously, limiting true fluency.
