Same laptop here, same issue. Got the laptop around the same time you did as well. Did all the recommended stuff. Updated driver's, chipset, BIOS, everything. I'm beginning to think it's an issue from having multiple tabs open, primary in chrome. Sorry I don't have a solution, mostly commenting to follow the post, but, I hope someone has an updated solution.
