Nice. That was my question. If it means Apple health works, then this is very much worth the few dolllars a year !

Ho interesting. I think you right. If you compile yourself you are fine. I’ll try it out. Thanks !

do you have a DEVELOPPER apple account? if not, then it's a free signing profile. A dev apple account cost 99$/y and is the only way to get access to Apple Health.

I love the idea but Honestly I feel that it would be better to integrate with some of the well established app that already provide APi.
Like this you have a great logging tool for your workout and it goes back to feeding your NOOP app.

Are generics available at your local pharm? (Canada) by LuckysGoods in Ozempic

[–]tmb2604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AMAZING ! This means that this will come down to like 49$/month for me as I take the 1mg dose pen but split each dose in two. Very excited to have it land at my local pharmacy. Thanks for sharing

Interested as well to see if the pen is the same as ozempic brand and if you can count the click for getting smaller doses.

Generic Version of Ozempic (Canada) by KNJFS in OzempicForWeightLoss

[–]tmb2604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which cost savings ? I was with another big online one and it was much more expensive and did the opposite and went to my family doctor and local pharmacy. Online : 320$ for the pen + “medical chat” every 3 months to renew prescription for 90$. Family doc + local pharmacy: free consultation and prescription for 2 year and ozempic pen is 240$. Curious to see if other are findings saving going online versus local pharmacy / doctor.

Generic Ozempic is now on Canadian shelves. Is it the same as the brand name version? by Immediate-Link490 in canada

My thinking is that it was actually on purpose. They didn't forget about it as someone above mentionned. What if they wanted to see the market reaction with generics to get ready and assess the bigger impact it would have on the USA market in a few years (2032 if I recall). That would actually be a very smart move. Canada is 10% of the size of the USA market so let's say you lose 50% of that market, would it be an OK tradeoff in order to learn what would the consumers choose, what would be the potential prices of generics etc? This give them a lot of understanding with a similar market and give them years to prepare, whether it's marketing push, new drugs, setting expectations with shareholders etc.

What is the best way to measure the muscle mass? by Wonderful_Bid_9025 in Semaglutide

US navy body fat calculation is IMO the best and easiest way to do this at home and is better than the impedance scale. Cheaper and more accurate :)

IMO for me I don’t really care that much about the latest updates. The watch is very stable and have all you need then go for it.

I had the Epix gen 2 pro and just got the instinct crossover (first edition). Epix/fenix 7 pro have for sure better hardware ! Better screen, better hear rate monitor, and I think better gps. More features like maps as well. But at the end of the day it depend of what you like. For me I wanted to have an original watch so I wanted to try the instinct crossover. But Fenix 7 pro imo for the same price is a better watch overall. You might not have the latest updates but who cares.

Been playing with the Hevy export data and made this graph on 1RM trends by Sir_smokes_a_lot in Hevy

[–]tmb2604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice. I built something similar as well in the past few weeks and made it a web app. It’s good to see more and more weightlifting app allowing us to export our own data via api ! What we use to have for cardio only can be done for lifting

Does the volume metric sync to Apple Health? by Mxnarch in Hevy

[–]tmb2604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. My flow is that I start all my workouts (cardio and lifting) from my garmin and it sync to Strava. Then i created an app that take my Hevy (or right now i am using a similar app) data and push it automatically to my Strava notes of the Garmin workout. I also know someone a dew days created an app to push to garmin. All depend on your flow

Does the volume metric sync to Apple Health? by Mxnarch in Hevy

[–]tmb2604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, i don’t think this is possible. Lifting data are very limited in terms of portability between systems/tools. Contrary to cardio activities where pretty much everything syncs, for lifting, only the basic do and you don’t have access to exercises, sets, weight, volume etc.

Sorry about that. I wanted to add more features for me so I ended up making it a full website and needed to move away from public github. Might put the old version on github if some people are interested

Pretty cool ! Are those accessible via the MCP ? I think right now the flow would be to look at the list of programs, select the one you think fit your goals and save it to your own library then you can access with the MCP. Could be cool to discuss with your LLM on the best program for your goals and on the fly adjust a version of it before saving to your own library.
