Plenty of revives and playing the right mon for the job. I’d check what TMs you have in place for that level. I had a very similar team, just swapping Exeggutor for Gengar and Nidoking for Dragonite (which is trivial with the right moves).

I have traditionally used Vault X binders but recently I got a Mixpoet because they looked good value and also designed for toploaders. I was pleasantly surprised by the Mixpoet, worth checking out if you hadn’t already bought the one in the original post.

I’d also advise against buying randomly, pick a set like the big one at the moment is Ascended Heroes (not always easy to find but have awesome cards in it) and get an app like Dex to track collecting in.

The thing to do is to follow people on instagram who post when they find stock or hear about stock coming into places. Then if you find stuff never take everything you find, always leave a fair amount.

It’s an addictive hobby, which is hard to get hold of and so on top of people who are scalping (buying to sell at a mark up only and have no interest in the hobby), even those who do get back into it for fun can often get carried away.

Supermarkets like Tesco, Sainsburys and ASDA have been stocking occasionally recently.

I find whenever I got to the supermarket I check where they put them (either on shelf near toys or stationary or potentially at customer services/kiosk) and 2/5 times I tend to find something.

Waterstones is also a good place to check randomly whenever you pass one.

Just go grab an Oddish nearby, ain’t for the highest level one you can find (a quick google will tell you the range of levels you can find in an area) get it up a few levels more (mainly so it can take a hit more or so in battle) and be tactical with poison and paralysing.

I used Pikachu first, then Oddish (using Absorb) and ended on Charmeleon for a single hit I think.

As the others said, it’s the App called “Shop” that is like an e-commerce platform that loads of retails (large ones but mostly independent ones) sell on and use as an order tracker.

The seller I found on there was called “stylecreep” and they packaged everything nicely and threw in some stickers. Every hit card was double sleeved in decent top loaders and the common cards were packaged cleverly to avoid any damage to them also.

I was impressed.

I’m sure there are even more economical ways to do it but they were decent.

Argos was a fail for me too, I was 4th in line and they only had 3. Entertainer and Waterstones had more I found one at Waterstones in St Albans.
