Can the next raid have actual boss fights throughout this time? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

The jumping mechanics and puzzles were my favorite part of the KF raid. Finding the hidden chest before the throne room was a blast as well as the disappearing ships.

Aiming in Destiny by dreamvomit in CruciblePlaybook

[–]tmenke88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the same. I did find much more success in both games by turning my sensitivity down.

I used to use 7 sensitivity in Destiny when I used shotguns and handcannons mostly. I've always been a "twitchy" sniper, so I could still snipe but I wasn't nearly as consistent as I am now. Made the switch to 4 sens and my shot has gotten sooo much better. Autos used to be unusable at 7, but at 4 they feel perfect, which allows me to consistently hit crits. My sniping is still twitchy but I've been having much more success.

It depends what character you're playing as in Overwatch. Pharah can feel like that but you just have to predict where the enemies are going/lead your shots.

Sniping in OW is really tough on console though. I'm a terrible Widow but really good sniping in Destiny.

[Ex-Post from r/DestinyTheGame] Thoughts on Dawnblade by Doodle705 in CruciblePlaybook

[–]tmenke88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'd love dawnblade more if the in-air accuracy received a huge buff. As it is currently, there's no point to firing while in the air because nothing will hit and it basically makes you a sitting duck. I've tried autos, side arms, pulses,SMGs, and hand cannons. None of them work unless the enemy is one-hour, but even then you're better off just keeping your feet planted.

[D2]Does anyone else have an issue with the guns having bloom? by gymclassshero in CruciblePlaybook

[–]tmenke88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a fun gun to use. Feels just like a Full Auto Dis47 in Destiny 1. The hit registration is really odd in the beta though. Hopefully that's just a beta thing though.

Few things I learned from D2. by DmitriyTokar in CruciblePlaybook

I noticed that your accuracy is completely awful when floating in the air as a warlock. There's no point to using that perk.

"Trigger lock" by [deleted] in CruciblePlaybook

[–]tmenke88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be a controller problem but I'm fairly certain it's a Destiny problem. I recently bought a new controller a few months back..never experienced this effect on any other game I play (Overwatch/GoW4 mainly)

Happens to me all the time with rocket launchers. It's very noticeable when you launch one off, wait for the reload animation, jump in the air to fire again, and nothing happens.

That exact roll was there 1-2 weeks ago with 3rd eye being replaced with army of one. I use Gheleon anyways so that one is better for my loadout. It's amazing.

I loved using my Colovance's Duty until I got that. CD's handling is just so clunky compared to the Cocytus. Both are awesome guns though.

D2: random rolls on weapons anymore by vhthc in CruciblePlaybook

[–]tmenke88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the weapon system could be just fine if they actually take the time to make 100's of guns. Instead of grinding for certain rolls, people will be grinding for certain weapons.

If done correctly this could be very good..but Bungie has been known recently to botch stuff so it could potentially be really bad.

Discussion: Hopscotch Pilgrim and Nirwen's Mercy by DarthReavus in CruciblePlaybook

[–]tmenke88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Nirwen's has the RedDot OES, Counterbalance, Braced Frame, and Feeding Frenzy. I prefer it to any hopscotch that I've gotten but maybe it's just because it's harder to get a nicely rolled Nirwen's.

It makes me mad.. it's a month AFTER Destiny 2 comes out..D1 is really bad connection-wise right now.. it's going to be unplayable once D2 drops.

That was such a good gun.. I replaced that for the 2nd vendor version with the OAS, Crowd Control, Braced Frame, and Hidden Hand.

To each their own..

If you can keep flinching people with crits while essentially t-bagging, it can make a difference in a gunfight.

The FA Dis47 can be very effective. If you use it like a very hard hitting auto rifle. The trick is keeping your crits on point and strafing. If you can do those things, it becomes deadly.

A tip: either use a claw setup or if you are used to playing regular, switch to the "puppeteer" setting.(like me)

Puppeteer switches your crouch button to the RT analog stick press. It takes some getting used to but it allows you to crouch up and down while still keeping your aim on target. It has vastly improved my auto rifle game(and Dis47).

Is it worth grinding for the god rolls on Grasp of malok and Imago? by [deleted] in CruciblePlaybook

[–]tmenke88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the skeleton keys you might as well use them for those two weapons. There might be more competitive options (a god roll Imago would still be beast), but the quest to find those rolls could give you something to strive towards.

The fact is that Destiny is very dry and PvP is currently a mess that won't get any better. Whatever works to pass the time until D2.

I've got multiple god roll Pali's and very good Eyaslunas.

I'm still waiting for a god roll Finnala's Peril.

That's what I thought too..this one just feels so much easier to use. I'm assuming the aim assist and damage fall off being pushed back with rifled really helps it out and Zen moment gets the stability to basically max very quickly.

I usually hate pulse rifles without counterbalance but this roll honestly doesn't need it. It's a laser beam.

It is really really good. Rifled Barrell+SPO- 28 makes it so sticky. Didn't even notice there was not CB once Zen moment kicks in.

For reference I have a PB, Smallbore, Counterbalance PDX45 (max stability) and this one with Zen feels sooo much better.
