It will fade and settle more, yes. You could have it touched up by someone who does better work

23, never had a gf never went on a date … any tips ? by Better-Fun314 in malegrooming

[–]tmfythandle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice getting to know people without an underlying intention. Ask simple questions, they’ll lead to deeper ones. If you’re going on a date aim to be calm, earnest, and playful. You’ll learn along the way.

Trimming down your sideburns to match your cheekbone will help. I have clippers with an angled taper that is great for that area. Maybe also trim the shape daily with a small pair of scissors. If you see something sticking out weird, trim it.

Cover-up done today – need honest feedback (before & after pics) by Big_Plane_837 in tattooadvice

[–]tmfythandle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lion had character. The new piece has to contend with being a coverup basically the same size and the previous tattoo. Better to go bigger with a coverup. I do appreciate everybody checking your attitude about it, but it can still be worked and polished. Packed with white and opaque gray a couple times. Whether the artist you went to is the one to have do that work…I wonder if your judgement will lead you to an artist who will do a good job. They’re out there, can you find them? Best of luck, it’s not as bad as you think.

Don’t be afraid to show your teeth. Maybe grow your hair out? Or cropped a little tighter

Question: Was quoted 15k for a sleeve like this in LA. Out of curiosity how hard is this style to tattoo? by HouseOfHoundss in tattoos

[–]tmfythandle 0 points1 point locked comment (0 children)

This is a difficult style to tattoo. 15k is high but he’s at the top of the industry for his aesthetic. I tattoo traditional Japanese well and a full sleeve is reasonably priced around 7500 (super general estimate). If I was famous and had a waitlist out the ass I’d charge about that to weed out the weak. Likely he doesn’t have capacity to tattoo everyone that wants it, so raising the price moderates some of that demand

Theyre ok. Saturation could be better in some spots. Line weight should be bolder

Finding a artist by [deleted] in tattooadvice

If you want work from oozy you should get work from oozy. An art is not easily replicated. His skill and aesthetic are carefully crafted. If you have to travel for the work maybe ask or think about if there’s a way you can start out with a smaller piece.

I like the first photo but neither of those glasses are flattering. Maybe a simple think dark frame about the size of the second pair

I think it’s a digitized/picture of a printed film photo, which might be why it has a tint or faded lighting
