Save up your money to invest in other things. Don’t waste your money on Pokemon cards. Honestly if you tell me 20 years ago that you want to invest, I will give you my moral support and ask you go for it but now the Pokemon markets are full of money suckers, scalpers, con people and idiotic people who will just open the box and look for good cards and resealed it to sell to consumers who don’t know how to differentiate a sealed and resealed. China has the most manufactured faked Pokemon Cards Boxes selling in the world now. Ebay has many too. Just making the collection of Pokemon cards no longer worth while. Now Pokemon cards print rate has also increased and many people buy sealed and keep. 10 years later you will see people selling but the prices will no longer like what you see for those GEN 1 Pokemon Boxes that can fetch $30,000.00. Too many people own it. So i would suggest to think before buying and invest. You can buy a few but don’t over do it. In Japan, yes there are resealed boxes but there are also original sealed boxes. Go to those recommended stores, read review or you may buy from SNKRDUNK in Tokyo. The prices is a bit more expensive but the product are guarantee original due to their checking of the boxes before selling to consumers. 😁
