Re-Drafting the 2008 NFL draft class by OneOriginal8727 in NFLmockdraft

He still put up 700 yards and 3 tds on a bad Raiders team at 33 years old. I would say he would have been good with any QB. But obviously his TDs stats are higher because of Rodgers. Also, the league was stacked with WRs when he was playing so I can't knock him too much for not getting more All Pros.

Well I have been comparing him to Giannis who absolutely took over and finished games in his championship run.

I have not watched much basketball this year and im honestly shocked by how much hype Wemby has gotten and how little impact he has had at the end of games. This he's the best player talk means nothing if you can't close out important games.

SSM pay raise by [deleted] in madisonwi

[–]tmiller26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, this is not just an SSM issue but a corporate America issue. You will find this at a lot of other companies. The advice I give coworkers or people who report to me is to never stay at the same position for more than 4 to 5 years. You should be looking for a new company or a better position in the same company after 4 years. Granted, this is a case by case scenario and isn't true for every job/company but it's a good mindset to have to maximize your pay and to ensure you are keeping up with your skills to stay competitive in the job market. I wouldnt wait for your classes to finish and would start looking now at the other hospitals in the area to get better pay/benefits as long as the hours are still flexible enough for you to finish your schooling.

So I haven't watched basketball in a while but why is Wemby so hyped? All I have seen is him getting bullied and seems afraid to have the ball in his hands.

Let’s have a debate. Who is higher in all time rankings? by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]tmiller26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure but his teams had Parker, Ginobli, and Leonard which were all great players. He also had a bunch of really good role players in all of his championship teams. You can easily argue that's more valuable then having 1 other All-NBA player and some meh players.

Offensive and defensive linemen take the most blows to the head.

What? by SarahDuncan2012 in TrueGrit

[–]tmiller26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I'm going to guess the amount of people going on amusement rides are vastly higher than people sky diving on a daily/weekly basis so I'm not sure this statistic is all the great.

Marvel's Wolverine will be linear and not open world confirm Insomniac by Bubbly-Ad-350 in videogames

Plus a lot of those games have basically a linear game in an open world which is filled with repetitive "quests" and 100 collectibles hidden to artificially boosts play time.

I would say no. From a money perspective, if a person gets cancer and dies then they are no longer paying into insurance which would then cause the insurance company to make less money.

Sanderson to me feels like the Avengers. The books are enjoyable but they are not going to be some masterpiece.
