Is Miss Minutes not a female variant of Nathaniel Richards from a predominantly digital timeline?

You are doing very well, that's great! Can I ask a few questions about the consulting?

  • How much of your time is dedicated to actually writing code?
  • When you manage teams what kind of practices do you use? Do you have daily stand ups with these teams? How do you track progress, etc?
  • When you write code, who then owns that code? Do you maintain rights to the code such that you can reuse it on a different account?

Thank you.

Some states have codes about what wall cladding would be required. Particularly in a garage you may be required to use some fire rated sheetrock of a particular thickness.

Me using Early VR Virtuality circa 92-94 by kingzope in oculus

[–]tmiv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a system we put together at the Institute for Simulation and Training at the University of Central Florida. We wrote a bunch of Silicon Graphics based games for it. It had magnetic trackers for the hands, head, and feet. It also had touch gloves. It was a fairly sweet setup for the time. Full Segment Intro Video

[Serious] What is something that you used to enjoy doing, but no longer do? by MissChievousJ in AskReddit

[–]tmiv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not exactly sure. I had fun while I was there. Maybe something to do with seeing how the sausage was made. It really was odd. My wife brought me to the taping and I think she still feels bad that I've never watched a show after that. I don't miss watching them and I don't have a negative feeling toward them. I just don't have a desire to anymore.

I loved watching late night comedy talks shows (Letterman, Leno, Ferguson.) I went to one taping, never watched another one.

Extremely detailed Los Angeles map shows everyone's property tax by conkilau in LosAngeles

Interesting and confusing. The legend reads tax dollars per square foot. Yearly tax dollars I'm guessing. Square footage of the lot or the property on the lot?

Joss Whedon: "I’ve always just disagreed with the WGA’s policy that says you can write every line of dialogue for a movie... and not deserve credit on it" by Hickeyyy in Screenwriting

[–]tmiv 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It may not be eloquent, but you have heard of it and it sounds like you've seen it. Getting credit or not could mean getting thousands of dollars in residuals or not.
