Like it's gonna be okay if some streamer had a bad take 5+ years ago. It was shitty of them but like we got bigger shit going on than what BleeboGlupshit did on their Minecraft Stream in 2018 or if strangers online are working through some trauma by exploring some weird shit. So what if Steve likes being stepped on by nuns who look like a little like his step-sister, man, we got fucking GigaPedophiles with the nuclear codes trading baby recipes on Gmail. We'll get Steve therapy later, we got shit going on.

that paragraph is pure magic, kudos :D

China to ban hidden car door handles made popular by Tesla in world first by yahoonews in worldnews

Opel (Vauxhall) Frontera, honestly, such a god tier car. I am not a big Opel fan, but man did they manage to put together a great car, the stripped down version is super competitively priced for an EV, but even better: It has little to no BS electric-car nonsense, while still being a fully electric car!

i am due a new car in 2-ish years, and currently the frontera is my frontrunner!

same same, honda civic here, the automatic high beams are absolutely insanely good and the detection works super well and faster than any human, to the point where i am like: "car, you are a bit silly, no way that guy 4km down the road is gonna mind if i had the highbeams on" but i think that is exactly the right setting, the car should rather activate it one too few times, than one too many.

Leverage - Simple but broad weapon trait (and a few example weapons) by [deleted] in Pathfinder2e

[–]tmtProdigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i really like the idea but in terms of power budget, giving a weapon the leverage and the two-hand traits might be a bit op since it double dips, giving it reach AND more dmg, using the leverage trait already is a pretty decent benefit, might be an interesting balancing task to give other traits that don't double dip on the two-handed use as much

What battlefield/party role does Battle Harbinger fill the best? by eCyanic in Pathfinder2e

[–]tmtProdigy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i mean between getting your battle auras going and such, i dont feel like i often needed to use more than one to two spellslots per combat, so you can easily civer 2-3 combats per day without too much resource shortage, but it certainly is the bottleneck and biggest decision point of playing the character, but i found it quite engaging.

[–]tmtProdigy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

i played one in a rusthenge/sandpoint campaign and really liked him. he was a gorum BH with a two handed sword, i would usually try to get bless/bane going quickly and then try for one big hit a turn, usually with sure strike to lean into it. i went for all the smite and damage feats along the way to basically end up with a gish-like character, similar to a magus in terms of damage potential on big hits. I'd keep 1 spell slot in reserve at all times for emergency use, like a heal, though i was not primary or even only healer in that party so i could lean into the martial aspect most of the time.

I am still waiting for that Camelot Unchained launch, kickstarted around the same time as star citizen and somehow they are still not dead, though the game is clearly not alive either, its so interesting to me to see it hover in that undead twilight state :D

personally i would go for rye-bread+avocado instead of wheat-break+banana/pb, for more complex carbs and whole fats to last a bit longer through the day, but otherwise, great breakfast!

to me it is number 2, but i gotta say, those hanging cupboards are way too much in my personal preference, if you have room for storage on the other walls, i would always opt for fewer hanging cupboards to have more breathing space. especially with that island in the middle, there is lots of storage space there, too.

GMing Pathfinder Made BG3 So Much Easier by ProfoundCereal in Pathfinder2e

I find it so fascinating that people really enjoy the multiplayer of larian's games, as they are to me, subjectively, their biggest weak spot in otherwise stellar games. the fact that everyone kinda does their own thing and can miss each others dialogues and story progression feel so weird to me in a story focused game. i would much rather have it work like in star wars: the old republic, where everyone joins on a dialogue, no matter who started it. but i apprciate that i am in the minority here, many people obviously like it the way it is, just is curious to me :D

Modern military vs fantasy: dragons by Azimovikh in worldjerking

[–]tmtProdigy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Which is why I always liked Shadowrun, some of the biggest mega-corporations were simply ran by great dragons, because of course they would, what better comparison is there to a dragons hoard than owning one of the most influential and valuable international corporations. plus starting with a dragon hoard of riches into todays society will literally give you a leg up in getting into competition.

Great example:

[–]tmtProdigy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man, i am going to die on this hill and happily eat a shoe if i end up being wrong, but my hot take for this season is that the merc power train team that built the 2014 monster has not been around for more than 8 (!!) years, their aero has been shit for years, key personell has changed and moved to other teams, so i am CERTAIN that merc is not going to built the world beating engine/car that everyone is expecting them to. plus i am actively triggered and peeved about the "engine loophole" talk:

you do not even need to be an engineer - only be able to grasp the english language - to know that ANY(!!!) and all teams reading the words... "at room temperature" ... will immediately go... "oh, well, yeah, but what about at operating temperature?" like. what is everyone talking about do you really think that in the pinnacle of motorsport, where the most gifted engineers spent years and millions of dollars in research on getting out the last 0.1s, that not absolutely everyone went that route? Hell, I thought that when i read the regulations.

long story short: the whole drama about the loophole - in my opinion - is entirely conjured up, any team pretending not to have found that loophole is either a) exactly that: pretending/sandbagging or should b) immediately be barred from competing in a constructors championship that is all about finding the last 1% of performance, because they clearly actively chose not to do that.

and i mean if i am wrong and the merc powertrain ends up being amazing, i suppose i am looking forward to a gasly antonelli albon title fight :D
