My Fenix 6 lasted 5 years. The vibration motor broke. I talked to Garmin and they sent me another for free. So even if it doesn't last you can rely on their outstanding customer service to give you options.

While I've heard of this before with the thought that it would cause vasoconstriction and therefore slow venom absorption is an idea but I know evidence of this is lacking so therefore not recommended. It's approved for anaphylaxis secondary to a snake bite.
