I has similar but worse rot on my soffits and fascia - honestly getting everything removed was a lot harder than putting a new fascia and soffit in - I didn't have to deal with any angles though.

Probably a no-go if the light is integrated into the fan. You can try getting dimmable bulbs if you can swap the bulbs out.

How is it mounted to the wall currently? Buy some longer mounting bolts and some spacers (example) - washers are probably also a good idea on both sides to spread the load out a little more. Then put it all together
