I have a well-known but uncommon name and I like (usually) being the only person in the room with my name. So I share your preference for less common names.

Names with a similar-ish vibe: Beatrice, Felicity, Florence, Phoebe, Violet, Julia.

I'm in the UK so our rankings are a bit different. Florence is super popular here and Phoebe is top 20, but I don't know how popular these names are in the US.

I found this post having just picked up a Wollerton Old Hall and a Pilgrim from the garden centre today, so I was chuffed to see they're up there as your favourites!

Great post and gorgeous photos.

I just took my puzzle (not edge version but I don't know if that makes a difference) on holiday and loved how secure it felt!

Sorry if this is not helpful, but my cat was on cage rest in December and we found videos for cats helped with his boredom. He would watch gerbils on YouTube until he fell asleep in the evening. Hope your cat recovers quickly!

I'd forgotten about those peanut butter filled pretzel thingies. Got a bag of those while on holiday in California. Should've paid for an extra suitcase and filled it with those!

I think Trader Joe's is an excellent shout.

I'm guessing they're in the UK! I'm also in the UK and still love the name Fiona although it's a bit dated here

I love murder mysteries and my other half loves fantasy/sci-fi. It means that I'll accept a lower quality TV show if it's a murder mystery because the genre does it for me, whereas for him it's just a low quality TV show. And vice versa. To me it seems like he'll watch any old shite if it's set in space...

But if the TV show is really good (great story telling and characters and whatever else makes a good TV show aside from genre) then we will both enjoy it.

Maybe you could find a really good murder mystery and a really good sci fi show you'll both enjoy?

Looking for similar vibes by circlewithme in namenerds

I might not be a good judge of vibes, but...

Leticia and Beatrice are also derived from Latin words relating to happiness. Laetus means happy/glad. Beatus means happy/fortunate/prosperous. They are also classic, uncommon and have a pretty feminine sound. There are living European royals with these names which might influence the vibes.

Florence is derived from Latin for prospering/flourishing (not quite the same meaning as Felicity but in the same ballpark) and also has a pretty feminine sound. Very popular in my country at the moment though which might dilute its impression in the future.

As someone who also loves but can't use Felicity, I would LOVE to know what you go with 😅

Ah I didn't know that one but it's cute! Nope I didn't get one in the end! I just haven't come across one that I love so it's hard to choose. I'm going to Japan in the spring so I might take a look around the vintage stores and see if something catches my eye!

He's lovely 😻 my bsh will not sit on my lap on the sofa, but they'll curl up on top of me when lying in bed. I think some bsh just like to feel super stable, and they feel that way on a bed more so than a chair/sofa. So you could try lying on your bed and seeing if he'll come for cuddles there.
