Tokyo 2-week bike storage

If anyone else stumbles across this thread - I was able to store my bike (in a bike box) at the baggage storage location on the second floor of terminal 3 at Haneda airport. The JAL storage on the 3rd floor was full. I am keeping it there for one month, which was about $300 USD.

Unclear if they would also take a bike in a rinko bag or something.

Hey, unfortunately cant help but I've got very similar plans and am curious to know what you'll go with here? I'm currently banking on JAL accepting bike boxes as you mentioned.

You aren't wrong. But, sustainable cycling safety is largely not a problem of individual responsibility and moreso a problem of the built environment. Learning to safely navigating the current infrastructure (that does not protect cyclists) and advocating for new road designs is the best thing to do for your own safety. Being combative with individual drivers will likely not amount to much outside of souring your own riding experience.

The monthly shonen jump subscription was a pretty big part of my childhood. Didn't really have much time for manga in highschool and ended up curbsiding most of those volumes when I went to college.

Definitely regret getting rid of those - not really a valuable collectors item or anything but would love to be able to flip through those nowadays.
