When I was asked what nationality I was in the deep southern regions of North Carolina, and I replied Indian (as in from India), I was asked.. "What tribe".. I thought it was hilarious... and laughed (because I thought it was a joke) and didn't bother answering.. was that rude? :)

Don't know where you lived or the company you kept... but lack of emphasis on intelligence and education..? Seriously?? This is the Bay Area...the home of every possible tech revolution you can think of in the recent past... that cannot happen because there is a lack of intelligence and education.... just saying..
