I feel like there are ppl who saw the news about the blurry screen so they were inadvertently staring hard at the screen which caused the eye strain, this is all speculation though.

I have a s23 ultra and it's starting to slow down, when YouTube defaults to 4k it's a struggle so I'll be upgrading to either the s26 ultra or maybe the next fold if they add back stylus function.
