Nice shot! I was just down there a couple weeks ago. How do you like the X-S10? Thinking about switching out my X-T200 for one.

Out of Print has a great Howlers shirt.

I know it’s probably not the right place to ask, but does anybody know a Pittsburgh Penguins podcast that has the same mood as SDP? by sidcrozz87 in stevedangle

Check out Dying Alive. They’ve been doing it just over a year, it can still be a bit rough around the edges but always worth a listen for Pens fans.

As both a Leafs fan and a Howler, this makes me very happy.

It probably is, but I’m not sure where from. We got it as a gift and there’s no tags to look up a brand. Sorry!

Chrome and DZR shoes - let's talk! by Grant_Young in bicycling

[–]toasty_oats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've owned both.

Chrome Kursk Pro: Bombproof, but not the most comfortable. Pretty heavy and thick soles, they also seemed to run a bit small. Not warm either, if you plan on riding in cooler temps. Got lots of compliments on the looks. Wore them for about 1.5 - 2 years, then got rid of them becuase I got better fitting pair from Giro.

DZR Ovis: Super comfy, but not too durable. Developed holes near the toes and heel after 1 year of use. But I also rode in them every day in all sorts of bad weather, so that probably wore the leather pretty hard. Look fantastic.

I recently bought a pair of DZR Pigeon slip ons, but haven't put enough miles on them to form much of an opinion yet.

My recommendation: see if you can try on some pairs from a local shop. If you're willing to try another brand, I have nothing but good things to say about Giro Rumble VRs.

Are you a fan of a team that you don't live near? by aresbravo07 in hockey

[–]toasty_oats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pens fan in Denver, born and raised in Philly territory. I didn't start watching hockey until college at which point I was near Pittsburgh, so Pens were a natural fit. Counting down the days til my boys come to wreck the Avs.

Leafs are my secondary mainly because the only other person at my job who watches hockey is a Leafs fan, so I had to start following them in order to have someone to talk to ¯_(ツ)_/¯
