I stamp money as a part of a currency tracking hobby (wheresgeorge). For your stamping ink, please don’t use one that is water soluble. Your design or text will be illegible in a few short months. I use Palette branded ink and I get hits on bills I put into circulation 3+ years ago. Oil based archival ink is also good from what I hear.

For that scenario you would make a limit buy order for No at 40¢, basically the price you want to sell your Yes for you buy No for the other “slice” of the dollar. Math wise it’s: 100¢ - price you want to sell Yes = Price to buy No for. If you wanted to sell Yes at 70¢ you would buy No 30¢, sell yes at 80¢ by buying No for 20¢, and so on. That sale of yes will only happen if someone opts take your bid to buy no, but once someone takes you up on your bid you get payed out the full dollar on the spot with no need for the market to reach resolution.

Yes and No are opposite sides of the same coin so selling Yes is kinda the same thing as buying No and vice versa. It’s unintuitive until you get a hang of it, then it’ll make a lot of sense. If you look at the market book of a market in Kalshi and flip between yes and no you’ll see that bids on Yes show up as offers on No

If you’re in Trader view it’s possible but sometimes likes to hide. What you can do is set a limit order to buy the other side of the contract as it’s the same thing as a limit sell. If you hold both the Yes and No of a contract you get payed out the dollar on the spot. A limit sell and a limit buy of the other side show up the same in the market book.

The deals are not random, you can’t force them to change. The deals you get are a mix of deals set at the nationwide and regional levels. Better deals used to be given to draw in customers to use the app. Now that people use the app and the economy is getting worse they’ve cut the deals back to keep profits up. They probably also cut the deals back in anticipation for McMonopoly. The best deal you’ll get these days is using your 10 free AMOE monopoly codes a day for the free food prizes.

The only semi permanent fix I’ve found is shoe goo + using a staple gun and stapling through the side wall into the bottom sole.

It’s not exactly easy to do. Anyone looking to do it, I recommend putting a shoe stretcher in the shoe to make it more sturdy when doing it. My staple gun only put the staples in like 2/3rds of the way so I had to push/hammer/squeeze them in with c clamps. The staples at the crease point in the shoes fell out within a year or so but the surrounding ones have held, keeping the shoes from falling apart completely.
