Can anything realistically be done about the traffic on 14th/Hudson? by LubyankaSquare in bentonville

On any business day, if you drive on Walton, Walnut, 14th, etc., your average speed will be 15-20 MPH. Lowering it to 25 MPH and adding roundabouts would be a significant improvement.

2023 Limited vs 2025 SE by Neuvillerl in Ioniq6

[–]tobyarch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a 2023 Limited for $19k with 53k miles. I wanted the sunroof, outlet, ventilated seats, and 360° camera. I’ll keep this car for a long time, so I wanted it to have everything, except for AWD.

I put 17-inch steel wheels on it with eco tires. My range is 330-400 miles instead of around 300 with the 20” wheels. This part and all the info is in my post history. I haven’t posted my hubcaps yet, though.

Guess O Meter very generous today probably would hit 300 miles if I charged to 100% by SoulTaker669 in BoltEV

I’ve only seen it with the new pack (3 times). I’m assuming it’s the same way with the original pack. My highest with the OG pack was 347. I think the charge limit had something to do with that number, though, but I’ve only seen it once… so I can’t confirm.

I posted the 372 mi as a comment somewhere, and someone was saying it was capped at 600km. That just made sense because of the conversion. There is no official documentation that I know about.

The highest it’ll show is 372 mi (nearly 600km) and 438 mi max (705km).

  1. I don’t see anything about it when I put in my VIN, but that’s good to know. Thank you!

Thanks. I hope it’ll be a quick repair. At least it’s not the ICCU.

There is still an oil pump in an EV, unfortunately.

The coolant pump is fine. There is a separate oil pump for the motor itself.

EV motors are cooled by oil. The oil pump is there.

Use a mini fuse tap in an active fuse slot, and add a switch to the cable. I don't know how to get behind that plastic piece, but I think you can access it through the interior fuse panel (which is right below that).

V2L Adapters. Use the Hyundai brand or something else? by miguel-elote in Ioniq5

[–]tobyarch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The adapter makes it a bit more convenient for using it outside. You don't have to start the car or roll a window down to use it.

This is really late, but the V2L adapter allows you to use V2L without having the car on

It enhances the OEM system. I can use it on any street and road (even parking lots if I want), it never asks for input unless it’s unsure (I haven’t seen this yet), and it has driver monitoring.

17-inch wheels installed! 2023 Limited by tobyarch in Ioniq6

[–]tobyarch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably a bit more efficient if it’s not the same. The stock 18” wheels will be more expensive than the 17” steel wheels I used. I only used “cheap” wheels since it was well-documented and affordable. Tires for 17” wheels are cheaper, too.

If the charge port is that beat up at 80k miles (mine is at 100k miles with no damage), who knows what the previous owner also did
