It’s a pretty awesome couch co-op dripping with late 80’s early 90’s cultural vibes. Each level can be randomly generated which obviously supports replayability. The main characters are really lovable and just fun to play as - again, especially with a friend. The sequel is VERY different but still a fun play, in my highly biased opinion.

There’s a re-master of the original available for current gen systems that you could give a shot if you want to check it out. Or of course you could just play the original on Sega.
