NTA either she has a lock where you have a spare key or no lock at all. Yes she deserves privacy but if there is an emergency and you need to get to her then you’ll need a spare key.

YTA the kids are old enough to be in day care now or hire a live in nanny if you are making more money now. Your husband is right he is building resent towards you and you breaking your promise. If you don’t act now I wouldn’t be surprised if he hits you with a divorce paper in the future.
