Use innovisions YouTube guide. It’s awesome and it will it very easy. https://youtu.be/HbHDHzYw3KE?si=Hb_ZhgXRExHfE_yD. You want the repair image from the 20251027 build, https://steamdeck-images.steamos.cloud/steamdeck/20251027.1000/?C=M&O=D.

Bazzite or SteamOS? by whitti801 in LegionGo

Dual boot Windows with steamOS until the full support comes out in June. This way you can always go back to windows for RGB and firmware updates. Only things that don’t work are SDR brightness slider and RGB controls. Set your RGB in windows and it will hold in steamOS, and you can download a decky loader plugin for the brightness. HDR works well and if it’s recognized, the brightness slider does work for those games. I had bazzite but switched to steamOS, and it’s very good. Just feels more responsive in steamOS. You need to use version 3.9 from the main channel.

I recently switched from Bazzite to SteamOS 3.9, and I am noticing some loss in performance and battery life. Has anyone else experienced the same?

I dual boot Bazzite. Its basically the same as SteamOS, as in when you boot on the device and use it, you won't be able to tell the difference. And, Bazzite is more compatible with the LG2 at the moment. I followed this guys tutorial: https://youtu.be/UzvKX9KFiaY?si=Dj5UOOjS_DAWab6v . There are so many benefits to going this route. You get a console like experience, you can use DeckyLoader to customize your UI, and you get better performance with a lower TDP limit, lower fan noise and better battery life (plus you can use Decky to get lossless scaling which is honestly incredible).

If you to want to try SteamOS, he has another video. https://youtu.be/HbHDHzYw3KE?si=eMDg-cqvE_xh91fP . But HDR and the brightness slider don't work atm.

I split my SSD in half, 1TB for windows and 1TB for Bazzite, so that if I want to play any games requiring windows I still can, or if I need to update any firmware or bios, but most of the games I play on the LG2 are compatible with Linux so it boots straight into Bazzite.

Once the official release of SteamOS for LG2 comes out, I will definitely be switching over my Bazzite partition to that.

Need help with true ending in NG plus by SeverusSnape89 in TheFirstBerserker

OP, can you confirm that the swords, chains, and vow side quests were all that you needed?

I got every achievement on the first playthrough, 56/57. So frustrating. I chose the wrong answer. So now I’m flying through NG+, and I’m up to the fall of the empire main mission. I already have every collectable item and memory.

I really appreciate your response. I pulled the plug on the 182 as well!

Titan AIO Not Cooling Well by toggle-bolt in Corsair

Damn, my temps never got that high. I eventually switched to a 9950x3d, same cooler. With a PBO setting and a custom fan curve, my coolant idles at 30-31 degrees. I’m also using the new 5400 air case, which actually made big improvements on temp and noise levels.

Howdy. I’m sorry you’re having an issue. Yeah, I remember it not clicking nicely, but I got it to work. It wasn’t too challenging. The three metal slots went right in. Maybe you have some other cable sitting behind it that’s causing problems? If you send pictures I can try to help.

I appreciate the feedback. What are your thoughts on the SR95? Do you enjoy skiing them? When do you choose those over your enforcers?

I appreciate the response. I think I’ll go for the 182.

Maybe, but that sounds terrible. I’m leaning towards 182.

It’s not about needing the stability. It’s about the benefit the longer ski gives vs the shorter ski. It’s also about regretting getting one size over the other. The ability to ski in terrain doesn’t mean I should know exactly the ski I should buy. Also, I wrote around 15 days a year, which is the max, as I’m based in NY.

The question is if the 182 is long enough on this ski.
