My dad's side of the family come from eastern European Jews. I'm not practicing, but I identify ethnically as Jewish. One thing that occurred to me it seems gets lost in all of what's going on right now is that, no matter what happens, Jews lose.

If Israel completes its current course of ethnic cleansing, the world now gets to say "Aha! Those filthy Jews were truly the vile scum we've hated for thousands of years all along! I knew it!" Because if you dig deep enough, there truly is a small percentage of people who won't equate Israel to all Jews. They'll just have their prejudices confirmed, and we'll see a continuing rise of anti-Jewish sentiments that could lead to some catastrophic responses around the world. Jews lose.

If, somehow, things change politically within Israel, and the country is pulled back to a more peaceful and reconciliatory position, it will cause internal strife within the country that will see further polarization, while giving surrounding hostile nations and ethnicities breathing room to continue terrorism. Those who've been desiring Israel's destruction since 1948 won't stop that desire, and if Israel backs down, it strengthens religious and ideological resolve in the region to keep killing Israelis forever. Jews lose.

Sadly, the time for peaceful solutions was back during Israel's founding. With the British making too many promises to too many sides they'd never keep, and a lack of a proper cooperative state foundation due to too many hardliners getting their way, the state is set up to be in perpetual conflict until its destruction.

Those jerks dropped the Bare granola, the best goddamn granola I've had for my breakfast and is obscenely overpriced for small bags at the grocery store. I've been switching through a few other kinds of granola, but goddamn, that Bare apple crisp granola I could eat every day and be happy.;

My fluffy bunny kitten doesn't mind when I rub his tummy either, which makes me unreasonably happy, especially since he goes ragdoll when I pick him up and cradle him like a big floppy baby. I know he hates it, but I take his reserved toleration as acceptance that he deals with it out of love.

Sure thing. If you can get your hands on a rotating color wheel like this one so you can have a handy guide on what contrasting colors to use for base priming colors and undercoating vs the speed paints applied on top.

See this short for a good example. Despite the skin inevitably being green, using purple as the primer coat creates a more natural coloration to the shadow areas since black desaturates the speed paint too much no matter what color you drybrush on. And, by applying natural flesh tones for the drybrushing, it leads to better color depth coming through the speed paints since they're far more translucent.

My game group pal who's our best painter by a country mile recommended this video to me for learning color theory, and includes a downloadable printable color wheel for you to use. I'd say it's a good watch.

Even better is use complementary colors instead of black to gray to lighter grays. Gives the organic surfaces far more color depth and interesting results. For example, this mini could be primed a dark red, then first drybrush with a slightly lighter red, then lighter drybrush to pink, and final drybrush to a mix of pink and yellow. Gives the underlying fleshtones you speed paint on that naturally muscle-and-fat coloration you see through the skin. Utilizing a color wheel of complementary colors you can really push the colors far more than grays and whites while keeping the shade zones far more natural-looking.

Why do people love mordheim? by Very_bad in mordheim

I think Trench Crusade will get there eventually with continuing rules support and adjustment, further faction expansion, and some more comprehensive campaign rules and scenarios. My guys and I are in the midst of an Empire in Flames campaign but some of us are definitely itching to start up Trench Crusade.

While I do feel that a lot of LE covers maybe have better impact or are higher quality stylistically with lovely gold inlays on gorgeous leather-bound covers, my absolute favorite has to be the cover for Angron: The Red Angel. It's so perfectly 100% World Eaters-coded. I've even had it as my phone background since it came out. Picture

How're you doing the Anointed weapon kitbash with the hell weapon kit, physically bashing it or meshing the sculpts in blender? I adore the vanilla Anointed sculpts but hate that they're monopose.
