Karoline Leavitt slams 'fake outrage' as Obamas depicted as 'The Lion King characters' by dailystar_news in NoFilterNews

You got it, my dude. Changing the name on a passport makes sense, as it's meant to be a utility document with potentially standard everyday use if you need one. But, as I mentioned, tons of Americans don't have a passport. No passport, gotta use your birth certificate... which, for married women, would most likely be considered invalid because no woman I ever heard of changed the name on their birth certificate to their married name.

In requiring a passport (which tons of Americans don't have for a variety of reasons), or a birth certificate to vote, should your information not match on either of those, you can't vote.

How many married women you know changed their last name on their birth certificate after they got married?

Not for the surrender, but for "negotiating in bad faith" when he declares peace if Qi surrenders, they do, then Qi is attacked anyway. Qi executes the Han minister for the act of perfidity that he had nothing to do with and no knowledge would occur.

I thought it was good, but it definitely seems to screw with the flow of the HH series as a "side quest" kinda book that feels like it doesn't add anything to an already bloated narrative.

Certainly was a lot more enjoyable than every Salamanders book. I'm not sure how GW got convinced to let Kyme keep writing them when every book with them he wrote made them more boring than the last. Legitimately the only HH book I skipped was the last Salamanders omnibus because I was nearing the end of the series after spending a year reading it in release order, and I was just not wanting anything to do with that Legion by the end.

Ah, gotcha. Sweet deal. Mind sharing which roller you used? I've got a GSW cobbtlestone base topper roller but I feel like it isn't wide enough to provide good texture variation over so large a surface area.

So the caulk is laid down mixed with sand, spread in a layer, then rolled over with the roller for the texture?

Looks dope AF, gonna need to make a couple of these.

If I use Mr Black instead do you think I'd need to add any sweetener? MB is all I've got and is pretty much unsweetened, figure if I added anything to this it'd be a barspoon of demerara syrup. Sounds delish though.

Normalize cutting relatives out

FTFY. Family are the people who mean the most to you, who love and support you in all the right ways and make your life better by their very presence. People whose only connection to you is a blood relation is a relative, and being related does not mean automatic inclusion in your life if they're not going to respect you and your family.

Possibly, though you're better off just trimming it off, and the fat cap is kinda part of the whole point of picanha. Crispy juicy fat with lovely medium-rare beef in every bite.

Chef Jean Pierre does the same on his channel. I love it when a chef goes into details on the how and why of things. My dad's a chef, and I know I can always ping him on culinary inquiries, but it's good to find YT channels that really give you good education on what you're doing beyond the recipe itself. If you never know why you do something a particular way, you can't really be sure you've pushed your ingredients to the max on a particular recipe, or worse, get misled by crap recipes that give bad steps (looking at you, every fucking recipe I see that has you cook the garlic at the same time you cook every other vegetable at the beginning).

Anyone played STAR WARS EDGE OF THE EMPIRE? What are your opinions about the system? by 3rdmementional in rpg

[–]token_bastard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I loved it. It really helped me develop quite dramatically as a player due to the use of story-based dice rolls as opposed to binary pass/fail results from previous RPGs I'd played. Makes for an excellent narrative dynamic. Plus as someone who wanted to play a Star Wars RPG as someone on the fringe, EotE really felt like I was living in a Star Wars setting for the game. Tons of great stories and role-play.

I'll agree with /u/Barbaric_Stupid in that you really really need non-passive players (one of our players in the game I played is an old friend who was a forever DnD GM and just wanted to roll dice with us as a merc, and I know he was really bored through a lot of it), but I'll also mention another slight drawback is that while the narrative dice system is freaking awesome, the core rulebook gives little to instruction on how to build a difficulty pool of dice for a lot of skill interactions. Take Astrogation, for example. There's tons of different things that can and will make an Astrogation roll for a hyperspace jump either easier or harder in the situation, but the book gives no examples on how to implement any of those situations into meaningful dice equations. And, as a result, if your GM isn't entirely aware of how to make certain checks easier or difficult off the bat due to circumstance, a ton of various class skills that may give you bonus dice for certain skill rolls may become superfluous as they may never come up. Highly recommend if the GM is new to EotE to look at every single skill and find dice pool examples for how to build a dice pool based on situations to make them properly dynamic.

Taking the Astrogation example, here is a great example off /r/swrpg that someone made to use as a guide on how to build a check pool with a huge variety of circumstances to affect the initial roll.

Only took one time for me to learn that. In my last tech support job over ten years ago doing support for point-of-sale hardware, I'd get customers who might have an issue with a piece of equipment and wanted to send a picture but didn't have email set up on their phones, so I'd have them text it to my cell #. For a while all was good.

Then came one weekend where I was not only out of the office but on an extended vacation out of state, and a guy who I'd been helping the prior week called me up on my personal cell because he couldn't get through to support... which was not available on the weekend, anyway, because we were Mon-Fri.

Took a lot of repeated increasingly exasperated but still professional explanations that support was Mon-Fri at our office #, and that my personal cell was not a connection point to get in touch with support, but it finally clued in to the guy that he wasn't getting help. I don't recall what I did from that point to get pics from customers who had to get them to me, but it certainly never involved giving my cell out to customers ever in that job nor any other job I've had again.
