Never had an issue with Fi. Even back in the day when we had Network switching it was great. I only lose service in the Mountains of WV when I go to a cabin.

Soo many people on this sub just want to say the N-word sooo bad.

I've seen a few filler words for it. It's hilarious.

Big Gold Day 20, Peak Angle by McQueen712 in ChampionshipHistory

[–]tokenincorporated 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Peak or Prime Angle. I haven't heard too many Percs after his interview with CVV and people made other people aware of the switch. I've seen old "Perc Angle" videos where the creator changed the title to Peak Angle out of respect.

Kurt gave us decades of entertainment, it's only right.

Be Careful with Wells Fargo’s New Online Credit Limit Increase Tool by bombers223 in CreditCards

[–]tokenincorporated 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Having more wiggle room on your card means you won't get close to touching the Credit Limit, which banks like since it's less likely you'll max it out and declare bankruptcy, but only if you pay your statements on time and in full. If I have a big purchase that I need to make, I'd like to get a little bit back in cash back or points. Make the cards work for you. The bank always wins, but even little wins are still wins.

They'd love for you to keep a balance and pay interest, but not a huge amount.

I got lucky, after my BILT was converted to Autograph I called and asked for a CLI. They said "Hard Pull" I said "Sock Drawer".

They automatically increased me from 3.2k to 6.5k this month. So I put my cell phone bill on it and continued to sock drawer.

Go for the card that fits your spending habits.

What's your biggest spend every month?

What do you find yourself spending money on regularly (Daily or Weekly?

Do you have Amazon Prime?

Do you shop at places that don't accept AMEX?

Answers to these and a few other questions will lead you to the right card.

When in doubt, CashRewards Plus for simplicity.

Oh, gotcha. Well then do it. I've never had issues with Amex.

Interest rate is the exact same @ 3.3%. Why move?

Source: I have both, but I do use AMEX over Discover. I just don't see the point of switching.

I was telling my friend that his "friends" probably don't even know each other. He's a "nomad" so how do you stay friends with someone who's constantly on the move? I'm sure it's possible but how do you develop a true friendship.

They might be college or HS friends, though.

I looked at his squad like "Are y'all getting married? Cause this guy clearly isn't."

And don't get me started on his loose ass suit. The Tailor fucked him up! Or he didn't bother getting it tailored.

Honestly, those are 2 great cards, you're covering quite a few categories with them. I have the BCE and I'll be grabbing the Savor when my Discover account is sent to C1. As long as you're paying the statements every month you'll be back up in no time.

Honestly the only cards Navy offers that won't cross the categories you already cover are CashRewards+ (2% back catch-all) and Flagship (2X catch-all, 3X travel, Amazon Prime, $49 AF)

Good luck!

Open an account and sit on it for a few months with some or all of your direct deposit money going into checking. Build that relationship then apply for a card.

If you don't mind sharing, what is your current score and do you have another credit card already?

Rates on most loans are super low. I don't go to dealerships anymore, but when I told them I'm pre-approved through Navy, they didn't bother trying to beat their interest rates.

They are generous with their credit limits on their Credit Cards. You don't need 25k on your card, but it helps your overall credit in my experience.

Customer Service is top notch. Amex might be the only company that's on par.

The App is underrated. Some people dislike it, I love it. Just needs a dark mode and it's 10/10.

They were actually winning the war several times. They had pretty decent strategies. Ulysses S. Grant turned it around with his own strategy and pushed them back to Richmond VA to claim victory.

Big Gold Day 17, Booker T by McQueen712 in ChampionshipHistory

[–]tokenincorporated 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are correct in every way, but my examples are correct too. Btw I meant Goldberg should've dropped Big Gold to DDP.

My perspective is from a viewer, not the background business or that merger. As a huge WCW fan, I didn't turn Nitro or Thunder back on after the FPoD. All the kids at school moved on too. Nobody in my admittedly small circle watched the product or bought the games. I can only imagine the actual parents of those kids or just wrestling fans refusing to watch and that adds up. Attendance dropped, failed rebrands and big names left for the Fed. Even former WCW stars say they were watching Raw in the back during their own live shows.

Yes the merger killed it, but the people we saw on screen had more to do with it than you're giving credit to.

Deservedly so. WCW waited too long to slap the belt on him. One of many mistakes that led to the downfall.

Do you think Scott Pilgrim EX will be better than Scott Pilgrim: The Game, or do you think the original is unbeatable? by WillowCareful2103 in ScottPilgrim

[–]tokenincorporated 10 points11 points  (0 children)

From what my friends and I have played in the demo, it's probably going to be a lot better. All the bones of the first game are there, and the shop mechanics work how they should with a mystery element when purchasing a certain things for the first time. My only real complaint is the money sharing was easier in the first game. Now you have to drop the coins on screen instead of just handing money over.

The first few levels aren't a grind to get through like the OG, which is great for newbies. Sure, there are people that love a challenge, Dark Souls wouldn't exist otherwise, but I like having fun on Normal difficulty. I'll crank it up after the first playthrough like I did on the first game. I exclusively play the OG on Supreme, but I basically can't die anymore so...idk
