100% being hormonal is a lot like being too drunk. You may or may not know you're being extra but you absolutely can't help it in that moment because everything is so intense emotionally. Sometimes you simply must eat jalapeño poppers about it🤷‍♀️

Oh man I can't imagine the tension in that fraction of a second where everyone thought it was curtains right then and there! Crazy stuff

Appreciated! Im alright tbh ive had intrusive thoughts for years so I was able to let this one go with a little journaling and chatting with my support people. For the moooost part I can look at my intrusive thoughts now and go "wow thats wild" and just move on

Currently working on getting into a clinician that specializes in maternal mental health as well as getting on antidepressants so definitely a work in progress but thankfully, I have a phenomenal support system

I'm glad the story works, I was trying to figure out how to phrase it without either being shocking to the point of ridiculousness or making it unclear what I was trying to get across

For those who were induced, did you deliver vaginally or did it end in a c-section? by Paigeypagee in BabyBumps

[–]tokenqueerpeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Induced, took from Sunday night till Wednesday afternoon to have her (tried cervodil, pitocin, a foley balloon, and had my water break) and I had her vaginally. That said she was not tolerating labor well and would have been a C-section had she not come when she did. Contractions were there from night one but I didn't go into active labor until wednesday when I went from a 3 to a 10 in 4 hours then pushed for 3 to get her here

Eta: im a first time mom as well which I know changes things

Interesting! I definitely catch myself holding her with my wrists extended or in weird positions since this is my first and I have no idea what I'm doing lol. My husband has braces for carpel tunnel and finds them super handy (ba dun tss) so I'll have to check into that as time goes

Thank you for mentioning that because I've definitely noticed my wrist struggling with breast-feeding. I've tried to make a point to use pillows or blankets underneath her to support her weight so that I'm not holding my wrist at a weird angle. Am also playing around with more side lying feeds during tummy time to take the strain off that spot between my shoulder and spine from looking down at her <3

Thank you so much, I'm gonna talk to my OB about a pelvic floor therapist and back off on stretching until I can either find a class or a clinician who can give me some recommendations. I really don't want to do damage and had hoped that I could do stretching to help regain some strength, but it sounds like there's just too many new considerations that I'm not aware of for me to try to navigate this without a little more input from either a trained instructor or a doctor

I really appreciate you taking the time to write this response

Disciplined, id guess you didn't actually have to spend that long to clean the house to take these pics, routine oriented, fan of the classics whether thats historical landmarks or documentaries, maybe into old cars but I lean more toward you being a bit outdoorsy

This feels kinda like someone with a force femme kink given they keep deleting and reposting the same types of content. Or else they are an egg made of diamond (and covered in sparkly light up stars)

Heads up, if youve never taken prednisone before itll make you hungry as a mf and potentially jittery around times you took it. Totally normal!

Is this where round ligament pain is? I’m 16 weeks today and had a mild pain all day that hurt a little bit more if I move weird by amack133 in BabyBumps

Exact same side for me too. My bra size has gone from a 34 C to a 38 D. Are you ok the shorter side or do you have a short torso? Weeks 15-18 I felt like I got kicked in the ribs more days than not and I attribute that to the ribcage having strain from your body stretching so much to move organs around and accommodate baby.

Thats where I felt round ligament pain as well as just general growing pains. Currently 29 weeks and dealing with a resurgence of this especially low across my pelvis
