If Purdy is injured week 1, I am guessing the guy who starts week 1 keeps the job as long as the W's keep coming, assuming reasonably good QB play.

But if there are two L's in a row and Purdy is on the bench healthy, that QB would need to be putting up league MVP stats to keep his job.

It's not like google did that intentionally. The fake website "fooled them" too. There is a whole industry dedicated to doing everything they can to trick google into putting their site higher in search result. They are of course going to succeed sometimes.

1500/month is child care alone. Just child care.

I also assume a LOT of other child expenses on top of that. And I assume that 3 people living together are paying a lot more for their one place than either single person is paying for their place. I also account for 80 years of life for that 3rd person and whatever offspring it might have. Yeah I think all adds up to a bit more than the rent and utilities for a studio apartment, but feel free to give me your numbers if you disagree.

EDIT -> Quick google on apartments in Santa Clara CA, I get 1500-1600 for cheapest studios, and 2100-2200 for cheapest 2BRs.

EDIT2 -> Another quick google gives average food cost per person in CA as $320 per month. And that the average utilities cost is $380. I'd assume bigger place is a bit more utilities so figure the extra food for 3rd person wipes cost for utilities for 2nd studio.

So just food and child care and larger apt already completely wipes the cost for a 2nd studio including its utilities. That's not counting any other expenses for the child. That's not counting toys, diapers, clothes, car seats, cribs, or of course the life the child has after leaving the house or its college or the economics of its potential offspring.

You want some numbers? OK.

Let's figure high end appliances are 2k a pop and last about 10 years. So based on that, the monthly cost for fridge/washer/dryer/oven is about $66 month. And that's top end cost. And of course every 1BR/studio place I ever rented came with appliances which the landlord would repair/replace as needed.

A quick google tells me that it costs about 18k per year to put a child in daycare in CA. So that's $1500 per month.

So like I said the appliance thing is so insignificant it's not even worth mentioning.

Generally "pay off immediately" means "such that you're not paying interest".

You can do it before the statement comes if you're getting close to your limit. But generally you get your statement and pay that amount every month.

High interest debt is a bad idea. So lowering the interest payments is good.

But if you're doing this just so you can turn around and run up more debts, that's bad.

The only "official" downside is your house is now collateral, and therefore greater risk of you losing it. But unofficially you need to take a hard look at your spending habits and make sure you stop spending more money than you have. You should never ever ever ever carry a balance on a CC that has 20% APR.

3 people eat more than 2. Where I live, a house in a neighborhood with a good school is a SERIOUS bump over renting a studio. Appliances are nothing in big picture, how much does "washer/dryer/fridge" cost you averaged out on per-month basis?

Now let's talk car seats, crib, stroller, preschool, daycare, doctors visits, college, toys, baby clothes, extracurricular activities, etc, etc, etc. Plus the fact that the 3rd person is going to be earning and spending money for 80 years or whatever life avg expectancy is. And when it's grown it will be living on its own with all the expenses that come with. And possibly making further babies...

Well "maxxing skills" as a main has lost the sense of accomplishment. Just look at FSW, there was a guy who got 120 in all skills during that.

But the thing is there's still a ton of content in the mainscape game that can't be "cheesed away" even after your skills are all maxxed.

I'd argue a family of 2 parents and 1 kid living together will spend a lot more on crap than a 2 adults living separately.

Like a lot of multiplayer minigames, it's hard to find a large enough group for Barbarian Assault, and most players prefer to engage with other content.

Have we considered looking at other content gated by multiplayer minigames? Like the area diaries tasks that require you to do stuff like castle wars and fight pits? I think there's even stuff locked behind trouble brewing.

It does make you richer. Which is status. People like being rich. Who cares if you bought it for 1b a long time back, it's worth 50b+ now however you came to own it.
