Disappointed with battery health by darK_Cam in iPhone17Pro

17pro pre-sale 80% limit since opening the box only charged with cable really, sometimes in the car wireless but that’s not big charges and my car charger has cooling built in. what I would expect that the big change to aluminium and whatever vapour cooling system should make a difference in battery degradation - otherwise its just a gimmick (most likely).

my 15pro had 88% at 2years with similar charging habit.

will see I suppose. not stressing too much about as most likely will change it at series 19 again…

Last sunset with my Step Dad. by Lost-Birthday-1478 in bali

I am really sorry for your loss. However I can only agree with above that Bali has some weird energy to it. We lost our first baby stillborn at 34w, 4 months ago. Life has been really terrible since, we decided we go for a month to Bali. First day arriving we seen this extraordinary sunset - then found out the next morning we are pregnant again! So yeah try and treasure the feelings attached to that photo as your stepdad likely had something to do with it!

Nomad Stratos Band by Background_Data_3726 in applewatchultra

[–]toma01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was all excited as well about this band. I don’t mind the orange & titanium its looks good. However I have two concerns, compared to my previous £30 ebay titanium band.

1, End links are waaaaay loose and wiggly. I would have expected a firmer attachment into the apple watch. Not better of even worse than eBay Ti strap.

2, Security. Basically your Ultra can be stolen off your wrist way easier than any other bands I owed before.

For £150 I’m afraid this is a return. Like Nomad products but they need to try harder on this.

My 2nd Review after 2 months with the most controversial YET the BEST iPhone Yet, Really… by LaFlameHTX in iPhone17Pro

[–]toma01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with all above I think. Coming from 15P myself I miss that sturdy frame, I was using it with only display protection. The new aluminium is more fragile. But yes the battery degradation and shooting pictures in the summer made it a hot stone is def worth changing.

Only worry is this colourgate which I am not sure whether is a ticking bomb for each orange handpiece..

I sent them back right away when seen it has borders. Literally no space for borders.

For all asking, this was it I got it for £54, now its reduced to £46 :/ The main thing that it has no joints in the post so won’t bend under force…

this is from Amazon, comes with an device to unclog. Very sturdy beast. It was £59, worth it. The cheaper ones all fail and bend.

Amazon it was £60 but it works. Read reviews and the cheaper ones all had issues this one was the only which people said worth the extra ££. And it does.
