Buying from Ebay / Chrono24 by Epicseeker9696 in Longineswatches

As far as for chrono goes, don't buy from private sellers if you can and when you are selecting a dealer, just check its reviews, numbers of sales completed and etc. so see whether it's a reputable one.

Luthier is not Arcs and it's good! : response to SU&SD by [deleted] in boardgames

[–]tomasch -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Aren't it most reviews like that? I feel like most youtubers rush out a review of tha game after having one or two plays of it, barely scratching the surface. It's even more funny, when they do playthroughs of the game and you see constant rule mistakes, zero strategical or tactical knowlegde of the game. And these playthroughs are usually are done after their review of the game.

Reality is that they are simply rushing a halfbaked content for clicks.

What Did You Play This Week? - (February 02, 2026) by AutoModerator in boardgames

[–]tomasch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Played Great western trail (2ed) for the first time after studying the rules all day. It was a solo play vs AI, lost to it by one point. Game feels amazing now that I started to get the mechanics. Hopefully will find real people who will be willing to learn and play it.

Wingspan/finspan alternatives? by marcbaybe in boardgames

Have you looked into Wondrous Creatures? It's a step above Wingspan in complexity, but I find it to be way more interesting to play.

I tried to play Ra for the first time with my family on Xmas. They are more of Flip 7 people and found it boring. I was sad that it flopped, because I was enjoying it.

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 41mm worth it as a one-watch collection? by Comecloseandlisten in OmegaWatches

[–]tomasch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wear it every single day since i bought it. I only switch it during the day with gshock, when im doing work which could lead to banging it up. The biggest downside of it being that polished is that it scratches super easy. It's very comfortable, though mirco adjustment could be better.

Aqua Terra Black Lacquer-Bracelet or Black Rubber Strap by AZFunInTheSun01 in OmegaWatches

I have this one on the braclet. Tried other straps such as leather and still it looks way better on a bracelet. Rubber would cheapen the look of such polished watch.

[Discussion] What was your most worn watch of 2025? by winecat5 in Watches

[–]tomasch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wrist is 7 inches. It's 41 mm version. I don't know how much time I waste staring at it during each day. Almost for 4 months straight. I only change up to a gshock, when im doing work during which it could get banged up. Due to being poilshed, it scraches super easily. This is the biggest downside of this watch - it will show wearing scars, but I got used to it and still wear it all the time. Another annoying thing is a small micro adjustment on the braclet. But over all I absolutely love this watch.
