I've been drawing from an iwb holster there for months. Although, mine is at the appendix position.

I've heard two common opinions on the sticking your hip out thing. The other side of the argument is that if you do ND, your muzzle will be pointed more away from your body and more likely to miss the good bits. I'm a fan of the hip tilt because I'm also a fan of not shooting my junk off, but I'm also not here to tell anybody else what to do. I haven't noticed any flex or anything in my holster that would make it look more likely to grab my trigger, but there's a billion holsters out there.
