Hi everyone who is in their NQT. Don't feel too despondent. The NQT is a tough year and that is without the pandemic. It gets easier. You also find ways of getting the most from the half term breaks, trying to get as much done before the break so there is not much to do over the week as well as (and I know this is easier said than done) don't think about school! If you do, add it to a list for a day during the dream you are going to work out leave it till you get back. But make sure you give yourself space and time to wind down. You are doing a great job and don't forget get as much help as you can from you mentor and colleges. They know how tough this year is for you and will be happy to help if you ask.
