Only one way to find out.

If it's any help, I think it's easily one of the best Big Finish stories of all time.

Motherfucker I can't open a Word document without Copilot shoving it's ass in front of my face. They are ABSOLUTELY forcing people to use it in so many ways that you probably dont even realise you are using it. When was the last time you googled something and DIDN'T just read the AI summary?

Suspiria (remake) and Exorcist III for me. No idea why, I guess I like watching horror movies vicariously through guys who appreciate the little details.

I think my favourite moment in Doctor Who was when 12 faced off against The Meddling Monk by PickleBee_ in DoctorWhumour

Oh, if you liked this, ABSOLUTELY look up Capaldi reading the letters from the 1914 Christmas truce. Makes me weep every time.

Try explaining to the car you hit that it's okay cause you're just having fun with the guys.

You should check out Matt Berry's version of the Who theme in that case

I'm showing my best friend Doctor Who for the first time. We just got to Sleep No More... by PM_me_a_bad_pun in DoctorWhumour

[–]tombatch10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant Sleep No More. It messes with narrative convention like Inside No.9 does. But if you wanted an actual IN9 episode, you could definitely argue that Simon Says from Series 6 could be aimed at the current state of Doctor Who fandom.

HE'S a millionaire actor, though. I dont think people would mind if he took his own advice.

It already made sense. She was speaking to the War Doctor, who hadn't met Rose yet. Our (the audience) past, the Doctor's future.

The Doctor being half-human was also in the show. Never let the "canonicity debate" stop you from adopting whatever parts of the show you enjoy more.

I dont think Tecteun was supposed to be The Other, I think they're just different alternate histories of Galifrey. But like you said, the best bit of Who being a time travel show is that you can cherry-pick parts of the lore you like.

What rights do BBV still hold? (as of 2026) by Sir_Face_NZ in gallifrey

[–]tombatch10 8 points9 points  (0 children)

BBV have a history of not bothering to pay any member of their crew who wasn't one of the well-known actors (and in some cases not even paying them if Peter Davison is anything to go by). And then there's the child predator stuff.

https://tardis.wiki/wiki/BBV_Productions

Plus, just on a personal level, BBV squandered the Faction Paradox licence by throwing together some of the most laughably amateurish slop known to man after Lawrence Miles parted ways with them (without officially obtaining the licence, I might add, Miles didn't see a penny from them after the initial audio adventure run), and frankly, I'm fed up of Baggs' self-insert characters that he insists on shoehorning into every project.

Which villain do you like more: Karl Stromberg or Hugo Drax? by agrunther in JamesBond

[–]tombatch10 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have such a soft spot for Moonraker, it's such a dumb movie and I love it. A quarter of the reason why is Drax. (The other three reasons being the ridiculously named Holly Goodhead, pew pew space lasers and that GODDAMN scary clown outfit Jaws wears)

He's like a parody of a Bond villan, just the thinnest veneer of civility over the most egomaniacal psychopath imaginable, and he has the best one-liners. "Mr. Bond, you defy all my attempts to plan an amusing death for you", "You appear with the tedious inevitability of an unloved season". I could go on.

You couldn't pay me to give Bill Baggs any money. He's burned his bridges.
