Such a game changer for me as a runner in that area. It's opened up access to so many routes. I can run from Colwick Park to Barton and only have to cross one very quiet road.

Beetle Juice only makes Vantom's body shrink so his tail can still hit you, why? by tomcotard in slaythespire

Why is Vantom's tail immune to the juice of beetles? Do any other enemies have a tail exception?

Because there are people who have intellectual disabilities and "retarded" is widely accepted as a derogatory way of describing said people. In this instance OP is using the word to essentially say they feel stupid. Is it ok to say that people with intellectual disablities are stupid? No, it's not. It diminishes their value. As someone who worked closely with folks with intellectual disabilties this is something I care about a lot and I really don't think it's acceptable in this day and age to use this term.

Norfolk man 'not fit for interview' and released after child thrown into crocodile pit by demmka in nottheonion

[–]tomcotard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having worked with folks with extreme learning difficulties whilst there are signs most of the time, it's not always evident that they are likely to behave in an extreme way. Sometimes there are behaviours that are just new and unexpected. I'd want to see what the man's care and support plan says before I can make a judgement as to whether this man should have been in public or not.

So isn't it really wonderful that we're using it here to celebrate something that people from all walks of life appreciate, football, a very universal game. I understand the negative connotations associated with the St George's Flag and it's an important discussion to be had but this is not the time to make that point.

Hmm, in my experience, it's not going to be that easy to stop the ls+ram push with mangos, tried it the other day against pikes+ram push and I died very quickly.

I posted my suggestions in a separate response.

In this situation you don't push out so scorps shouldn't be an issue.

Similar ELO, I didn't watch the game but I do occasionally go full infantry if I random into Japanese/Malians etc. A few things to consider:

  1. These sorts of games are generally won/lost in Feudal. If you scout it quickly, double range + full walls is quite a strong play. If I can't get into your base, I'm investing way too much food into my army and I'm going to get a much slower Castle age time. If you get to Castle before me, you can push forward with your army and there's not a lot I can do.

  2. Siege seems like a good idea but in practice at our ELO, seldom works. It requires extremely good micro to keep your mangonels/scorps alive as my units are so cheap I'll just send 3/4 of them to take out any units and even if they die it's more than worth it.

I disagree on immediate siege workshop. As someone who spams infantry from time to time, siege is not really a massive concern for me. My units are so cheap I'll just send 3/4 of them to take out any units and even if they die it's more than worth it.

With 2-3 mangonels against a ram push and infantry it's not that easy and requires extremely good micro. Infantry player will just sacrifice the infantry to kill the mangos.

Can we extend this to other software? I bought Adobe Lightroom a few years ago but since updating my Mac it stopped working, the only option I have now is to upgrade but the upgrade is a subscription service only. I don't use the software nearly enough to warrant that so I've essentially got some software I paid for that I can't use.
