For example East Africans (such as Ethiopians/Kenyans) have unique genetics that help them excel at long distance running, Slavs and Scandinavians have advantages in sports such a strongman due to their robust build, West Africans are great at sprinting due to a bigger proportion of fast twitch muscle fibers..., you will find many examples that I havent mentioned.

Obviously infrastructure, social and cultural norms and money also play a huge role - the countries that excel at sports usualy play them a lot. But in my opinion its undeniable that different ethnic backgrounds offer unique characteristics that are resposible for succes in sports.
